About me

As a professional certified coach (ICF PCC) using a strengths based approach (Strengthscope Practitioner) I help people in their 30's and 40's navigate their way through life's challenges.

“Sometimes reducing a problem to one short sentence can be enough to bring about insight on its own.” David Rock, Your Brain at Work

Perhaps you are feeling stuck, are reaching a cross roads or are at a plateau in your life.

I will help you identify what you would like to have happen in your life, how to get there and who you are in this journey of yours.

I am 49yrs old with with a house full of crazy teenagers and when I am not coaching you will find me either walking on Dartmoor or sailing around the South West.

What my amazing clients say:

"Matthew is a fantastic coach who brings both his own knowledge and work experience together to get the most out of each session. He is able to push and pull on the existing strengths of his clients to make them overall better leaders."

“Matthew held the space with such expertise and sensitivity that allowed me to explore fully the two sides of my coaching business: working with cancer patients returning to work and executive clients changing career paths. He helped me strengthen my vision to discover how my charity and private sector clients might look like.”

"Thank you Matthew for your commitment and support. I would recommend Matthew to everybody who is looking for a coach with experience, expertise, patience and dedication. He has helped me realize my strengths and struggles in my new role. His ability to tune your authentic skills to achieve goals is commendable"

"Matthew took me from complete impasse to registering my new company in 4 sessions. He has stretched me, guided me and challenged me but most importantly got me to where I needed to be. I intend to bottle Matthew and carry him around in my pocket. Can’t recommend highly enough."

"Reflection, recalibration and direction are three valuable learnings I have come away with having worked with Matthew. Through his thoughtful questioning, I was able to identify areas that I could focus on in order for me to develop my career. The genuine manner in which Matthew conducts his sessions made them very fruitful. Engaging with Matthew has given me a renewed sense of confidence that I will take forward on my career path"

"Matthew has coached our small group of directors over a number of years, both 1:1 and as a team. His skill is to create the right environment to help us work things out for ourselves. He is a great listener, asks pertinent questions, and his insights are always spot-on. He has made a big difference to us."

"Really incisive and insightful coaching which helps you to see things clearly, unstick problems and move forward."
