I work as a full-time self-employed therapist and I am a Professional Member of ANLP (The Association for NLP). I abide by a strict code of ethics that ensures you will be looked after within a safe,confidential and non-judgemental framework, and I’m fully insured. I am also DBS checked.
As well as running my private practice, I work with a local Mental Health Support Service on a voluntary basis.
I currently live in Evesham with my partner and my dogs – Harry & Ernie. I was born in Kent, but have moved all over the country with my ex-husband who was in the RAF. I have been married twice, and have 2 children and 4 grand-children, so I’m not short on life experience! My background is mainly in commerce and interior design but my passion now is helping people to find the correct way forward for them, using my integrated ‘tool box’ of skills and knowledge.
My practise is run from my home, and I have a dedicated therapy room that is warm, cosy and comfortable with snuggly cushions and throws to help you feel relaxed. I will send you detailed instructions on how to find me, and you are welcome to park on my drive. All you need to bring is yourself, and wear comfortable clothing. The sessions are really relaxed and based around positivity and moving forward.
I specialise in helping people find the right path for them to move forward with their lives. Sometimes we get 'stuck' and don't know which way to go - I can help you discover the best way for you to live your life to the full. You can be the car, I'll be your satnav.
Training, qualifications & experience
After training in counselling, I felt that this is an extremely helpful therapy for some people. Sometimes, just talking things through is just what’s needed. However, for others, they need a more ‘solution focused’ approach, so I undertook further training, and I’m now also qualified & licensed in hypnotherapy and NLP. This gives me more ‘tools’ to work with, and my clients achieve more direct results, and in a shorter time-frame, than counselling alone can offer.
My clients come to me for help with life-choices (health/life balance), personal development, anxiety, stress, relationship and confidence issues, as well as phobias and unwanted habits they would like to break.
Sometimes clients can have a 'break-through' within one session - everybody is different. But usually four or five sessions are all that's required to help you find your new way forward.

After an initial 15 minute phone call, your first half hour face-to-face (or Zoom!) will be free! Each 5 session programme will include the following:
- Free 15 minute initial phone call to make sure we’re a good ‘fit’. If I can’t help you I will sign-post you to another therapy/ist that may be more suitable for you.
- Free half hour initial meeting, face to face, to discuss your requirements in more depth and to allow me to explain how I work and what will happen in the sessions.
- 60-75 minute sessions (instead of the usual 50 minutes offered by many other therapists).
- On-going support between sessions (via email, phone or text).
- Out of hours assistance if required.
- Quality printed hand-outs.
- Feedback and support between sessions.
- Follow up after final session.

My wellness therapy encompasses both mind and body. Both are interlinked, and I believe that if your mind is healthy, your body will follow. Some issues can be cleared in one session, some take a few more, but most people are helped to move forward within 4-5 sessions.
