About me

If you feel like you are stuck on an emotional rollercoaster, on the verge of overwhelm and unable to carry on the way things are, I can show you how to step off the ride.

Hello and welcome to my profile!

My name is Lydia and I am the founder and therapeutic coach at Amethyst Coaching & Training.

I specialise in working in a trauma-sensitive way helping you regain control from overwhelm, stress or anxiety to avoid burnout and improve your mental & physical wellbeing.

Who do I make a difference to?

I help women who have huge hearts and an empathic nature that find themselves in a cycle of being frantically busy, doing their best for those around them, worrying about making a mistake or letting someone down which leads to them hitting a wall and crashing in to overwhelm.

Feeling emotionally and physically flooded; submerged or drowning in their thoughts and emotions to the point that they can’t see how to get out, you feel stuck and paralysed by it all.

When you find yourself in this shutdown place, trying to find the answer and how to get off the frantic hamster wheel can seem daunting in itself.

And to do it alone an even steeper climb.

Have you reached that place where you think ‘‘I can’t go on like this’’?

In my therapeutic coaching, I gently support and help you to find clarity once more and the path back to emotional balance. From this solid foundation, you can then build resilience skills, strategies and resources which help you to avoid burnout and free yourself from the busyness to bust cycle.

The results that others have had:

✅ feel calmer, more balanced and more secure in themselves

✅ able to focus, so are more creative, productive & efficient

✅ more confidence, courage and resilience

✅ wake feeling refreshed from sleeping

✅ strengthened immunity

✅ feel happier with better emotional wellbeing

✅ have healthier, more aligned and fulfilling relationships

✅ live a life you are excited to wake up to

What makes me different?

My passion and desire to find ways to build emotional wellbeing and resilience stems from my own journey of moving forward from the emotional overwhelm experienced from having c-PTSD (complex PTSD).

This gives me a unique insight, as well as compassion, from both sides of the working relationship. I have personal experience of the powerful shifts and change that can happen using the tools I have trained in, and I want to share with others what I wish I had known earlier.

If you think this is a change you would like to have for yourself, and you feel ready to create a future your heart longs for, I offer an initial free session to answer any questions you may have and to find out whether we are a good fit to work together.
