Lydia Walker | Dip Coach | Integral Eye Movement Practitioner| Master NLP | mBIT
Heart-centred therapeutic coaching for better emotional and mental well-being and healthier relationships.
Who do I make a difference to?
I help people who are fed up with the emotional pain, heart ache and stress they are experiencing in life.
You may be experiencing worry and anxiety.
Or be on a rollercoaster of emotional highs and lows.
Overwhelm and burn-out may also be becoming part of your life.
It is impacting your confidence...
And your relationships... there is a disconnect or friction between you and the ones you care about the most.
You may have had counselling or read all the self-help books...
But things slip back to where you were before...
How do you break out of the cycle or 'fix it'?
As a therapeutic coach, I offer an alternative to past-focused counselling and therapy.
I work with you using of a blend 5 different tried and tested methodologies to get you lasting change.
To support you in creating a future life which is in-line with who you want to be.
As a trauma-informed coach I have a sound and depth of understanding of how trauma from the past impacts us today. I have personally moved forward from c-PTSD and offer therapeutic coaching that is sensitive to the challenges that trauma brings to moving forward from past adversity.
What if the past is part of the issue?
As an Advanced Integral Eye Movement Therapy Practitioner I offer a change-work process which allows you to address problematic memories and 'turn down' associated negative emotions, without needing to go in the the details of any event or re-live the trauma.
IEMT is also helpful in working with beliefs or patterns which may be limiting or sabotaging you from achieving what you want in any area of life.
What are some of the other methods I use?
Using mBIT (multiple Brain Integration Techniques) coaching roadmap you can start to reconnect with the parts of yourself that may have become disconnected from. When you re-integrate with your full neural-network, your intuition, heart, creativity and deeper self will bring coherent change and calm to you.
With NLP, referred to as the user manual of the brain, we have access to powerful resources for change and future-focused solutions.
Polyvagal Theory gives us the neuro-science behind emotional regulation and social connection. By having an understanding of how our nervous system and attachment system works, you can start to take back control in soothing and regulating your emotions and reactions.
My vision statement.
My belief is that no matter what age you are, what stage of your life you are at, whatever has been weighing you down or holding you back; the challenges you struggle with today can be improved.
My therapeutic coaching methods will help you gain clarity and an insight in to how you free yourself from any repeating patterns you may find yourself in.
My approach is a heart-centred blending the key elements of a solution-focused coaching process and therapeutic change work in a trauma-informed way.
Using the coaching framework to plot a clear path towards what you would rather have.
You will gain the skills and knowledge to have a calmer, richer and a more secure, connected, fulfilling life with yourself and those around you.
If you are ready to make the change and create a future your heart longs for, I offer an initial free session to answer any questions you may have and to find out whether we are a good fit to work together.
Why do I work in this area?
After my own challenges with emotional well-being and recovery from trauma I am passionate about supporting others who want to free themselves of the burden and added weight of emotional conflict.
In the past I had tried counselling and CBT. And whilst it kept my head above water at the time, it didn't go more deeply in to the unconscious patterns that were keeping me stuck.
I also needed to learn new tools and resources to make a sustainable, long-lasting change.
I now offer all my own learnings and training through therapeutic coaching to help others in a way I wished I had had available to me when I needed it.
