Thriving (not just surviving!) in a busy life
I help a wide range of people in business and professional careers to be the 'best version of themselves' in their work and also home life.
This work can often be a blend of personal development and business coaching.
I have particular interest in helping my clients deal with:
- stress and anxiety
- coping with a high/demanding workload
- pressures of professional practice
- pressures of running a small business
- confidence and self-esteem
- leading a team
- managing your relationships (with clients, colleagues and family)
- work/life balance
- relationships with spouse/partner
- parenting and family
- changing/re-assessing your career
Personal experience and insight
I'm an interesting mix of business owner and lawyer who is also a coach - and who has been transformed by the power of good coaching. It has helped me change my response to stress, dial up my emotional intelligence, develop better thinking skills and significantly increase my positivity to what life and work throw at me.
I nowadays live a much better life (both at work and in all aspects of home and family life) as a result of this work I've done on myself - and so in my coaching work I'm able to share this journey, insights and ways to grow with you.
I have three children (now teens) and know all about being stretched very tight between wanting to be a good parent and also being hugely motivated by wanting to succeed in business.
Work/home/relationships/family/our inner self... everything's connected!
With me as your coach, you get someone who spans the gaps between executive coaching, business coaching and life coaching, and who has learned a lot of lessons about both being the 'best version of ourselves' in both work and home life - and how to find a balance between them.
My coaching work doesn’t fit neatly into the traditional categories of ‘business coach’ or ‘life coach’ because each of us comes as a total package. Life and work are intricately bound together, and I always treat you as a whole person.
What I can bring you through my coaching
My approach is all about helping you gain clarity about the important things in life and work, and then heading in precisely the direction you want to move.
We get you there through significantly increasing your self-awareness, including how you react to challenging things and what your thinking patterns are. It can be exciting and profound work, usually producing positive shifts that will be with you forever - changes that will be likely to positively ripple out through your family, friends and colleagues too.
I help people maximise their potential – in their careers, their work and their general lives. I love working with creative, committed people who want to take themselves to the next level of success, fulfilment, happiness or personal growth, whatever that means for them at this point in their lives.
I often work with business people, professionals (e.g. doctors, accountants, HR professionals, teachers, lawyers, physios, coaches, psychologists) - and also with other people who are simply seeking self-development. As I've said above, my work covers executive coaching, business coaching, life coaching and personal coaching in equal measure - because everything we do is connected.
I encourage you to read more on my website about my coaching approach and understand my philosophy around what coaching is.
