About me

I work with people who are at crunch points in their lives or careers. Perhaps you're feeling stuck, or facing a crossroads, obstacle or opportunity - something that has made you stop and think “what now?” or "What's stopping me?".

TIME FOR CHANGE
Maybe you’re looking to change direction in your work or you’re coping with a change in your health or personal life. Making a fresh start or finding new connections may mean having to rebuild your confidence and re-evaluate your self-worth. We can work together on helping you refocus your efforts on what is important to you, helping you overcome whatever is holding you back.

If you find yourself struggling, with an ache for something ‘more’ or a desire to discover a new sense of purpose, the time is now.

I offer a safe, confidential space to explore your thoughts, consider your options, and understand what might be holding you back; freeing you to make the decisions that are important to you. Working with me in a reflective coaching partnership allows you to view your life from a different perspective, test your thinking, and move forward with purpose and conviction.

DREAM WORK
Finding satisfaction and success in your working life can be challenging, whatever stage you’re at. Are you working to live or living to work?

Whether you're moving into a leadership role, honing your technical skills, or building a brand-new team, how can you harness the mindset of the leader you want to be? Dealing with imposter thoughts, building confidence, and enabling collaboration all benefit from coaching.  Learn how to align your values with your vision and bring your team and your business along with you.

BALANCING FAMILY LIFE
Balancing work and home life can be tricky at the best of times, but it’s even more challenging for parents with increasingly complex family dynamics such as separation or divorce, adoption and fostering, parenting children with additional needs or caring for older relatives. As an adopter myself, I know first hand how hard it is to fight for the support your family needs, while your needs get lost in the struggle. I am here to listen and offer guidance where appropriate.

Taking some time to focus on your own self-care can help you identify when you need extra support, and give you the strength to concentrate your energy where it matters most.

Training, qualifications & experience

ICF ACC Coach working towards PCC
Acceptance and Commitment Theory (ACT) Coaching
Team Coach and Facilitator
Certified NLP Practitioner

Certified DiSC Practitioner
Member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF)
Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts (FRSA)

I’ve spent most of my working life in in marketing, operations and senior management roles, in libraries, publishing and private education. On a more personal note,  I am an adoptive parent to two teenagers, so I understand the challenges of trying to negotiate support for a family in difficult times.

This diverse background enables me to have a direct impact through coaching. I’m committed to supporting people in a variety of personal and professional contexts. While change is a prevailing theme, it is often underpinned by deeper and more embedded concerns.

I love the variety of people I work with and areas that can be covered in a session, and particularly the sense of progress and achievement experienced by my clients.

Having a clear space to focus on a situation, dilemma or dream in partnership with a coach will help you do your best thinking and commit to the actions that are workable for you. Coaching creates an opportunity to uncover blocks and create lasting change.

Further information

Here's what some of my clients say:

"I wanted to feel more effective and accomplish some long-term goals that just never seemed to make it onto my current to-do list. Coaching has helped me see myself much more clearly: what overwhelms me, what drives me, what my strengths are and what I need extra help with. Lisa helped me see aspects of my personality that I can work with and not against. I now know what tools I need to help me get on and achieve my goals. It’s great to be able to talk candidly with and be accountable to someone who you can trust to have your best interests at heart."  Emma

"I wanted accountability. I feel I have got so much more. Lisa has a personal interest in the work that I do and this is hugely helpful. She is passionate about my business doing well and I believe she can appreciate the good it could do, if I get out of my own way! Lisa has challenged me to believe more in myself and spurred me on, to aim higher. She is supportive but has been able to help me discover ways I can do, and achieve better. I really value our sessions and come out with clear direction we have discovered together."  Yoni

"I have gone from feeling stuck in a rut and guilty about wanting more to having clarity on what I want and a plan to achieve it.  I feel braver and stronger, and I think my self-worth has increased as a result. Lisa is very good at picking up on the subtleties of what is being said and asking questions that really make you think.  I find my sessions with her really empowering - we always meet early, and they really are the best way to start a day!" Karen

"Lisa’s coaching helped me make decisions for ME. Work was overtaking my life, and other areas of my life were struggling. Her kind nature, gentle style and support enabled me to figure out ways to make things better. She helped me work out what was best for me, helped break down my priorities and put me on the right path. I now feel in control again. I value her support more than I can explain. She is insightful, supportive, non-judgemental and of course, confidential. Let Lisa help you, it will change things for the better. I can’t recommend her highly enough." Sarah
