About me

How I Coach

My clients have described me as having a warm, gentle and professional approach to my coaching. I use a coaching approach that is person centred and strengths focused, enabling the client to identify their options and what they can do, as well as providing accountability.

Why me?

My training focused primarily on transformational coaching and experience has ensured that my coaching has stayed holistic. A trained listener, I use my active listening skills to reflect back to my clients their thoughts and feelings, which is very powerful for people as it can open up new awareness and understanding of their situation.

How coaching can help you

The benefits of coaching are potentially huge for you, including increased confidence, less overwhelm, remove your blind spots, challenge your thinking and attitudes and keep you moving forward with your intentions.

Training, qualifications & experience

After working in my first graduate job, in the IT department at HSBC, as a systems analyst, I retrained as a coach in 2017 and set about gaining my ACC accreditation from the ICF. I achieved my ACC accreditation in December 2018 and have worked with individuals to achieve their goals. Most recently I was a coach on a health and employment trial where I worked with clients who had mild to moderate mental and/or physical health problems and needed support either finding work or staying in their job. I'm now a coach with the Know You more community as well has having my own business.

Coaches can become accredited by the ICF, who have three grades of membership: Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Master Certified Coach (MCC), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Master Certified Coach's have achieved a substantial level of training and experience.

Wheelchair user access

Wheelchair-accessible premises should have step-free access for wheelchair users and individuals who are unable to climb stairs. If a life coach's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the life coach to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
