My training focused primarily on transformational coaching, helping clients to make deep changes. Since then my coaching approach has broadened out to include strengths-based techniques and looking at the stories we tell ourselves.
As a trained listener, I use my active listening skills to reflect back to my clients their thoughts and feelings, which is very powerful for people as it can open up new awareness and understanding of their situation.
Work-wise I've had experience in coaching people who were wanting to get into employment, as well as people wanting coaching to make changes to allow them to stay in work. Coaching is not just for your career/job though! I've helped people through transitions such as moving house and fitting into a new city.
How I Coach
My clients have described me as having a warm, gentle and professional approach to my coaching. I enable my clients to identify their options and what they can do, as well as providing accountability by using transformative, person-centred and strengths-focused coaching.
I believe that paying attention to your agenda and really listening to you is crucial in developing trust with you and for you to get the most out of your sessions with me.

Training, qualifications & experience
After working in my first graduate job in the IT department at HSBC, as a systems analyst, I retrained as a coach in 2017 and set about gaining my ACC accreditation from the ICF. I achieved my ACC accreditation in December 2018 and since then have worked with individuals to achieve a wide range of goals.
In 2019-2020 I was a coach on a health and employment trial where I worked with clients who had mild to moderate mental and/or physical health problems and needed support either finding work or staying in their job. I'm now a coach with the Know You more community and I'm really excited to be coaching young leaders who've completed the UK101 programme.
Recently I achieved DISC certification and am able to offer DISC profiling plus feedback to my clients.
UK International Coach Federation
The International Coach Federation is the professional association for personal and business coaches worldwide.
Coaches can become accredited by the ICF, who have three grades of membership: Associate Certified Coach (ACC), Professional Certified Coach (PCC) and Master Certified Coach (MCC), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Master Certified Coach's have achieved a substantial level of training and experience.
Members of ICF are accountable to a professional code of ethics.

Please contact me to discuss your needs. As a guide, I charge £70 per hour, £135 for two sessions and £360 for a six-session package.
I am available for appointments on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays, plus Saturday mornings. Please contact me if you require an evening appointment.
