About me

Taking the first steps

Thank you for taking the time to read my profile. To ensure you get the most value from your coaching I give a no obligation 30-minute free consultation. In this session we will discuss your needs and identify the key areas where you want to make changes or overcome barriers. We are all different hence we also explore the best coaching approach for you and ensure I am the right person to work with you. Should you wish to continue working together we then formulate an initial action plan for the coming sessions.

Why come to me?

Life coaching

Do you feel that you are not good enough? Do you look back thinking you could have done better or do you find it hard to make decisions enabling you to move forward? Maybe you are struggling to deal with the challenges life throws at us or lack motivation to start achieving your goals. Perhaps you find yourself at a crossroad and are unsure which path to take?

In life we will always face difficult thoughts and feelings. When we get trapped in these they can control us and limit what we think we can do, leaving us feeling totally overwhelmed.

Learning how to deal with these thoughts and feelings can completely change your life. Together we look at what you are saying or thinking to yourself, identifying what is not working well in your life and what is bringing you down. Importantly we also gain clarity on what matters to you and how you want to live your life helping you to deal with life’s crossroads. With this knowledge we create strategies enabling you to move forward, achieve your goals and give you back control allowing you to feel happy and content.

I have supported clients with:

  • Life coaching
  • Self-confidence and self-esteem
  • Stress
  • Anxiety and depression
  • Motivation
  • Mindfulness/Meditation

Business and Career coaching

Do you feel pressured in your job? Is the work load getting to much? Are you starting to feel burnt out? Perhaps you feel underappreciated and want to progress? Do you get the most out of your team? Are you comfortable with your leadership style? Maybe you run your own business and lack of confidence or other such barriers are holding you back from achieving greater success?

Having spent many years as a senior manager, I faced and overcame many of the above challenges. Now as an independent coach and tutor I am supporting clients through their challenges helping them to achieve their career aspirations and business goal.

I’m able to offer:

  • Business coaching
  • Leadership coaching
  • Career coaching
  • Redundancy coaching
  • Work/life balance

What you can expect from me

As well as achieving your aims, I want you to feel positive, inspired and motivated from our sessions. Trust is very important to me as I understand how vulnerable it can feel when opening up and revealing personal thoughts and feelings to a coach.

I am always striving to be:

  • Trustworthy and treating everything you say confidentially
  • Open and approachable, creating a safe environment for you to open up
  • Engaged, adaptable and very person focused
  • Respectful of you and what you want to get out of our time together
  • Warm and empathetic
  • Strategic
  • Out of the box thinker
  • Generous, happy to transfer my knowledge and share tools and techniques

My sessions normally last for about 75 minutes (unless you prefer something different) and cost £60.

To benefit the most a commitment of 6 sessions is recommended to support change, hence I offer a 10% discount for anyone who books 6 sessions as a package.

More about me

Before embarking on my coaching journey I was a senior manager in the IT sector for many years. Coaching and developing my team members was very important and a huge motivation in my work which has laid the foundation for the business I run today.

Originally from Sweden I have spent the last 20 years in the UK. My work has taken me to many countries and different cultures which has helped me gain a good understanding of how different people can be and at the same time, how similar we all are. I am always continuing to learn about people and how our brain and mind work.

What happens in a session?

This can vary, however I use my three steps Clarity, Confidence and Action within each session. This helps us to gain insight both on what you really want from life as well as what is currently holding you back, build confidence and put actions in place in order to move forward. Typically, in a session we will;

  • Ask thought-provoking questions
  • Reflect on what’s being said, heard and felt
  • Identify appropriate actions
  • Recognise valuable insights - about who you are and what you want from life
  • Learn skills and techniques

How many sessions do I need?

This is dependent upon the individual and the reason you are seeking help/support. It is important to recognise that change takes time so allowing between 6 to 10 sessions is a general guide. I understand that in today’s world it may be difficult to commit so we can also take it on session to session basis to suit your life. Bear in mind that the aim of the coach should be to give you the tools and techniques to empower you rather than create a dependency on a third person.
