Kerstin E. Berg
I'm a professional Co-Active* coach, having trained with the Coaches Training Institute, CTI, one of the world's leading training organisations. I bring humanity, honesty and trust into the coaching relationship. It is important that you, as coachee, can feel total confidence for me as your coach.
I have an eclectic approach to my coaching, and draw from a wide spectrum of knowledge as neuroscience, psychology, spirituality and new discoveries around trauma treatment.
I spent 20+ years in the corporate world, managing a number of industrial trade associations, run my own company and worked as a freelancer. Originally from Stockholm, Sweden, I now live near London.
I receive regular supervision and hold a professional insurance.
Most coaching sessions are done via Skype/telephone, and face to face is available in Central London.
*) 'Co-Active' stands for a coaching relationship where both the coach and the coachee are in balance, being equally important to the process. It is based on the firm belief, that each one of us is naturally creative, resourceful and whole.

When we are faced with challenges, small or big, most of us react in an automatic way. We do what we think is expected of us, or what we believe we should do. It's more common than not to get stuck in belief systems about what is possible and what isn't, and let these beliefs guide our lives. There's often an ill-fitting story line that comes with this in order to explain our choices in life. How many dreams lie scattered only because the first step was never taken?
A coaching relationship gives you the tools and the learning to unlock your own potential. The coach is not an expert, but a facilitator of learning. In coaching, the coach is helping the individual to improve their own performance: in other words, guiding them to their own learning and transformation.
A quick fix?
Coaching is not a quick fix but creates results over time, for that reason I offer two packages, of four or six months. It is a process that requires both the coach and the coachee to actively pursue a change.
When you come to me, we will together identify the areas where to begin. My coaching is always tailored to each individual, because each one of us is made up of an array of experiences, and there is only one just like you.

For more than 20+ years, I worked in the corporate world, sat in innumerable meetings and dinners with CEOs, managers and other decision makers. What I realised was that, although many have the desire to get to the top, it is quite lonely once you get there. Being in a supportive coaching relationship is one way of achieving balance as a leader.
I am a member of the Association for Coaching and adhere to their Ethical Code, hold a professional insurance and receive regular supervision.
