About me
Supporting individual explorations and understanding; facilitating personal change and growth.
Positive Change is a counselling and coaching practice developed to help people achieve a brighter future with a positive state of mind.
The philosophy of Positive Change is rooted in four fundamental steps.
- Explore - yourself, your current state and your future desires.
- Understand - what's required to achieve change.
- Change - circumstances, feelings and behaviours to make goals a reality.
- Grow - as an individual to a new and better you.
I offer my clients confidential and non-judgemental time and space to think and reflect, coupled with an understanding of how to contain and transform through the development of alternative and more positive life strategies. Using tried and tested coaching and therapeutic techniques, including deep relaxation and guided imagery I can help you explore your challenges in a way that enables you to take a more objective viewpoint with a deeper understanding of what you can achieve. Whatever your past experience or present situation, we can work together to find a more empowered, balanced and healthy future.

Further information
I believe that everyone has the capability to be the best version of themselves, and that they know what that means for them. However, we don't always recognise this straight away, and sometimes need help understanding what the journey from current to future state might look like. This is where I come in - using tried and tested methods I can help you to clearly articulate what it is you want to achieve and how you will go about achieving them, enabling you to put the wheels in motion!
I am experienced in working with women, particularly those who have experienced difficulties with self-confidence, and also more generally with survivors of childhood sexual abuse, with suicide (through work with Samaritans as a volunteer listener), and in career development providing coaching and mentoring at all stages of their life and career journeys.
