About me
Hi, I'm Julie, and I live on the Cheshire/North Wales border with two of my adult children and our beloved cockapoo, Lilly. After two divorces of my own—one, after a brief marriage in my early 20's, and also a profoundly life-altering one after 16 years of marriage in my late 40's, my personal journey has shaped who I am today and inspired my work as a divorce coach.
During my 8 year post divorce journey, I've navigated 7 house moves, relocated countries and areas, retrained and kick started a new career, and even faced 3 months of homelessness. Today however, in spite of all the challenges, I've rebuilt my life from the ground up. I'm thriving; my children are thriving; I'm a homeowner and most importantly I'm extremely proud of my practice as an Accredited Divorce Practitioner. I'm grateful every day for the experience and skills I now have to pay back all I've learned, and to help others on a similar life path. I'm not sharing this to gloat, but rather to reassure others that divorce does not make you a failure, it does not define you, and in fact it can be a catalyst providing the opportunity to truly become who you were meant to be, living a life you are proud of.
At Julie Williams Compassionate Divorce Coaching, I provide emotional and practical support to individuals at any stage of the divorce process. My services include helping clients gain clarity on whether divorce is the right decision for them, guiding them through the divorce process itself (although as a divorce coach I don't give legal advice), and empowering clients to create a fulfilling post-divorce life.
I offer one-to-one coaching, either in person or via Zoom, ensuring flexibility for my clients. What sets my practice apart is the compassionate, safe, and supportive environment I create. I want my clients to feel like they’re truly in the right place, and my priority is to ease the fear, insecurities and loneliness that often comes with divorce. My goal is to ensure that, beyond just hearing these words, my clients genuinely feel safe, supported, and empowered throughout their journey with me.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am an Accredited Breakup and Divorce Practitioner, having received my training through the highly respected Sara Davison International Divorce Coach Centre of Excellence. The accreditation process involved rigorous and comprehensive training, which included intensive mentoring from Sara Davison herself, a renowned expert in the field of divorce coaching, as well as her team of elite coaches. This hands-on guidance has given me a solid foundation in both the emotional and practical aspects of divorce coaching and I am also committed to continuous professional development to ensure I remain at the forefront of the divorce coaching field.
I am experienced in the tools, techniques, and insights necessary to support clients through their most challenging times. My approach combines empathy with practical strategies, ensuring that my clients receive the highest level of care and guidance throughout their divorce journey.

Here’s what one of my clients had to say:
"Julie was prompt in my initial contact effort and was understanding and approachable. From the first session, I felt very comfortable to discuss personal issues. Julie provided the guidance and support I needed to move forward. Her empathetic and practical advice helped me navigate difficult conversations with my ex-husband, leading to better co-parenting and more effective communication. Julie also helped me shift focus, which enabled me to move forward emotionally, rebuild my confidence, and take back control of my life. I highly recommend Julie for her exceptional support and insightful guidance." – 5 Star Google Review
I offer one-to-one coaching both in person and via Zoom. To give potential clients the opportunity to explore how we can work together and ensure they feel comfortable before committing to the coaching process, I provide a free 20-minute discovery call, where we can discuss your needs and how I can support you through your divorce journey. There will be no hard sell, just a genuine desire to understand your situation and discuss whether I would be a good fit to help you.
