I’m Jules Hellens, a Wellbeing Life Coach helping women over forty to make positive changes so they can live and embrace a healthier, happier life.

That’s where I can help. As your Wellbeing Life Coach, I will take you on a journey of self-discovery where we will create goal-focused solutions so you can unlock positive outcomes that will enhance your overall sense of wellbeing.
We will achieve this by me guiding and inspiring you to connect with and rebalance your head, heart and body by using tools and techniques based on the framework of positive psychology.

I also work with and support women who are experiencing mental, emotional and physical symptoms that relate to the different stages of the menopause.
My Wellbeing Journey
My journey to a healthier and happier life started when I hit perimenopause in my late forties. I experienced debilitating symptoms which had a negative impact on my overall sense of wellbeing.
It was at this point in my life where I really didn’t know what I wanted to do. I felt stuck in a rut and completely lost. I retired from nursing and successfully completed an MSc in Business Management, but soon realised this new avenue did not fill me with passion because I still had a desire to help and support people.
I volunteered at a charity called Happy City, where I attended a course called ‘Wellbeing Champions Training’. This training had a massive impact on me and was the turning point I had been looking for. This led me to train as a Wellbeing Life Coach.

"It's been five months since my wellbeing life coaching conversation with Jules and I am pleased to say my life is still on track and I have to give credit to Jules as a significant contributor to this fact.
I was in a poorer state of mental health than I realised at the time. I was also on the cusp of a 'life crossroads' situation. I had a lot of things going on with work, home life and family commitments. I was struggling to make clear decisions and the right choices.
During our conversation, I was impressed with how Jules seemed to empathise practically with my 'messy head' situation. She was the first person to identify my 'chattering head' as a significant blocker of 'good-decision' making.
Her gentle guidance and support during our coaching conversation allowed me to clarify my thinking and identify some specific goals. Jules calming tone and clear tailored language, along with some very practical relaxation techniques worked well for me. This got me through what turned out to be an amazing week, leading to a challenging but special year.

"I met Jules on Connecting Women Through Wellbeing workshop and I luckily won the opportunity to have two sessions. Both sessions with Jules were thorough and unrushed.
Whilst I was already aware of some areas of my life where I wanted to create some change, I had no idea where to start! Jules helped me to identify my strengths, any potential barriers, my perceptions and what my realistic goals might be.
Once we identified some goals, we looked at setting smaller achievable actions to help me achieve them, including creating a vision board which I have found to be useful as it has given me a visual aid to the goals I want to achieve.
Throughout our sessions I found that Jules was very calm, positive and encouraging person. Offering insight into how I work as a person and how this can be used to create change.

I finally organised for myself to see a private specialist a couple of weeks ago which was a really good decision. He was great and well informed. He has taken me on through the NHS. We are now playing around with the right doses of HRT until we get it right. He thinks all my symptom's have been a result of hormonal changes. I have been on patches for six weeks now and already feeling much better"
