About me

My fire service career was all about ‘being there’ for people during the worst moments of their lives, I know how important it is to provide professional, compassionate and non-judgemental support for people when they need it most and you can be assured of my total commitment and support as your therapist.

I am an Accredited Life Coach and am also qualified and experienced in a range of therapeutic approaches including Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC), Hypnotherapy, Gestalt Inquiry, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy.

My Approach

My approach is to create a healing relationship by creating a safe space for you to explore your issues, emotions, feelings and beliefs within a non-judgemental and highly confidential environment.

During our exploration I will provide appropriate challenge and scrutiny of your thinking and analyses to help develop your self awareness.

The third step is to agree with you the best approach for resolving your issues. Which may be through traditional life coaching approaches such as goal setting and talking through problems, or it may take a therapeutic approach such as changing your beliefs or releasing your emotions.

Therapeutic Approaches

Quantum Energy Coaching (QEC for short) is a simple and profoundly effective healing method of changing our limiting beliefs at the subconscious level of mind. All our beliefs, positive and negative, have been formed through our life experiences. Every time we have learned or experienced something new, whether good or bad, our brains create a hard wire system, called a synaptic connection.

These experiences and beliefs are then stored in our sub-conscious mind which in turn affects our every decision, belief, opinion and thought. Imagine years and years of experiences which have made us who we are today. QEC is a highly effective healing modality which helps you resolve issues and beliefs that have been causing you distress by re-wiring your thought processes.

Analytical Hypnotherapy: Hypnotherapy is a traditional therapy developed over centuries which is used as a method for helping people manage a broad range of issues. It involves using deep guided relaxation, known as a trance like state, which allows you to become absorbed in your inner thoughts and feelings where you can access your creative mind, respond to positive suggestion and, through visualisation, create powerful personal solutions.

Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), also known as ‘Tapping’, is commonly referred to as psychological acupressure as it involves using our fingers to tap 8 key energy points around the head and torso. The therapy aims to release emotional blockages within the body’s energy system. As with many other therapies, EFT works on the premise that the body contains energy channels. When these energy channels become blocked or unbalanced, it is believed to lead to emotional and physical illness. Using tapping techniques, Emotional Freedom Technique looks to correct these imbalances.

A few Testimonials:

Another amazing session John and I can’t thank you enough for your guidance and support. This testimonial doesn’t capture the magic that happened but I hope it helps.

I have just completed a series of QEC sessions with John and it was life changing. .John has a rare ability to hold a space which helped me open up and share all my limiting self beliefs. Being able to do this allowed me release these old limiting patterns that had formed over many years.
This combined with the QEC techniques John used has left me feeling so optimistic and confident about life and the journey that lies ahead.
I would recommend John and QEC to anyone who has limiting beliefs affecting there lives and holding them back from living their best life.  Scott Dixon
