About me

Whether it's building confidence or finding a new career path, I'll help make your personal vision a reality. I have a background in journalism and experience of coaching parents of children with autism. Clients say my style is warm and empathic.

My approach is to focus on you as a complete person - not just your current role, such as a job or parenthood. We will meet regularly, face-to-face or by phone, and I will support you, challenge you and provide you with a framework to make lasting change.

We will explore how you view the world, what you truly value and any patterns of thinking that are holding you back.

I use a variety of techniques, such as Transactional Analysis and Neuro-linguistic Programming, to help you bring out the best in yourself.

Most of all, I believe unconditionally in my clients' power to improve their lives.

Please contact me if you'd like to arrange a complimentary 90-minute trial session.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have spent 15 years as journalist in a fast-paced media environment, working for papers including the Daily Mail. This has given me the chance to hone techniques for dealing with stress and communicating effectively in challenging situations.

I've successfully completed the Barefoot Coach Training Course for Business and Personal Coaching and am now working with a number of clients to help them find a better way to live.

I'm a member of the International Coach Federation.

Other areas of coaching I deal with

I coach parents of children with special educational needs, particularly autism. As the father of a lovely five-year-old boy on the autistic spectrum, I have personal experience in this area. I support my clients as they navigate the many challenges and joys of caring for someone who sees the world in such a unique and special way. This can include exploring communication styles, family dynamics and techniques for creating a calm and nurturing environment.

I offer a three-month coaching programme, tailored to your individual needs. It will consist of six 90-minute face-to-face sessions. The fees will depend on how much change you wish to create and the level of contact.

You are welcome to contact me by phone or email if you are interested in coaching to see if it can benefit you. The call will be both complimentary and of course confidential. I also offer a complimentary 90-minute trial session.
