About me

Working with me could help you to really articulate what it is that you want, what it is that you don’t want and find your own answers to these questions, building excitement and self-confidence. Having worked with new parents for over 20 years, I have an understanding of the difference to values, priorities and identity that can come with becoming a parent and am experienced at helping people align these changes with work their 'work self'.

I am skilled at focussing on people's personal development, helping them see things from other perspectives, to think of how they can harness their skills and view challenges from a positive stance. Having the time and space to focus on what makes you ‘tick’ – your values, motivations and priorities – can be exciting and refreshing. I can provide this safe space to explore these, providing non-judgemental listening, asking powerful questions and gently challenging you. You have the answers and it is my job to help you find them.

Email me to set up an initial free phone call so where we can talk about what you would like to get out of coaching and explore the idea of working together. If you would like to go ahead with coaching, we can arrange how and when to work together - face to face, via phone or via Zoom/Skype, weekly, fortnightly or monthly. I am based in Winchester and the people I have worked with have been of all ages and from a wide variety of sectors.

Training, qualifications & experience

I have completed a Masters in Coaching and Behavioural Change at Henley Business School, and am a member of the Association of Coaching.

My approach:

  • As the client, you are central to the work
  • I provide a safe, confidential environment so that you are free to explore your challenges, ideas and choices
  • I use a range of coaching tools and techniques, combined with careful listening and use of powerful questions
  • I am compassionate, but also gently challenging
  • I work with individuals and with organisations to affect desired behavioural change

Testimonials from previous clients include:

'My sessions with Jane over the past few months have helped me from a panicked flight or fight mode through recognising my abilities, strengthening them, building my resilience and exploring new tools to manage and lead effectively. I feel significantly more confident, happier and secure in knowing I have the tools to manage myself and challenging situations when they arrive.’ (MC)

“Jane was very good at summarising my thoughts. She was also very methodical in her approach and broke down all issues in manageable topics that we could discuss. She allowed me to focus my attention on key points by asking very open questions that would lead me to a clear vision of where I wanted to achieve.”

"Jane worked with me when I was making a decision about a change of direction in my career. She is a great listener, professional, knowledgeable and helped me think through the options available to me. After our meeting I felt much clearer about what I wanted from my career, my priorities and she gave me the confidence and motivation I needed to take the next step. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Jane." (S)

“Jane’s calm and professional manner makes it very easy for you to think, and reflect on what’s needed and necessary.  She made it very easy for me to think clearly about what I need to do going forward” (D)

“Jane is an excellent listener with good instincts.  Her reflections and observations were ‘spot on’.  She always had ‘just the right thing’ to help me to resolve issues and work things out for myself. Thank you.”
