About me
I'm James - a Professional Certified Coach and Chartered Environmentalist. Warm, curious, and genuine, I am passionate about helping people to grow in confidence and happiness, and to take action for themselves, their communities, and the planet.
I work with professional adults, and specialise in:
- Leadership coaching - including challenges with strategy, vision, relationships, confidence and staff
- Mental health coaching - for mild to moderate mental health concerns such as stress and anxiety (note this is not therapy)
- ADHD coaching - managing the challenges and making the most of the strengths
- Coaching for interviews and public speaking - building authenticity, confidence and success
I am a nature based coach. This means there is the option to do any of the above work outdoors - either together in person, or remotely by phone - in partnership with nature.
I donate 2% of income to independently assessed projects that contribute to sustainable development and the climate crisis.

Some testimonials from clients
James helped me to develop my self-confidence, which also helped me identify my leadership qualities. His genuine approach is an inspiration! (Mark, Environment Manager)
The entire coaching experience was very positive, James is a clear communicator and a great motivator. Which all resulted in my successfully passing the interview and landing the job. (Gabriella, Senior Officer)
James is a cool coach – different in style and he goes at an easy pace. His levels of abstraction that underpin his questions are terrific and really bring a new angle to the coaching conversation. Really interesting approach and highly effective coaching. (Simon, Business Consultant)
James has been an exceptional coach. He has helped me to learn a lot about myself and to develop tools to work through things that I find challenging. He has always made me feel comfortable in our coaching sessions but also helped me to feel more comfortable about feeling uncomfortable. (Catherine, Project Team Leader)
James is a brilliant coach who has a calm, patient, professional manner and understands ADHD brains. He is open-minded, innovative and intuitive in his coaching approach, recognising styles that work best – for example a coaching call with me sitting outside in nature and him using that as part of our coaching conversation. (Sophie, Environmental Advisor)
