About me

I’m Jacqueline and I support young people and adults who may be going through difficulties or are unsure about how to make the changes they want in their lives. I have substantial experience working with people to support them in achieving their goals.

What can I help with?

I can help you achieve what you would like out of life no matter how far away you feel you are from reaching your vision. You have the ability to achieve what you want but you may be going through a tough time or it could be that you want a change in your life and are not sure where to start.  With the current Covid-19 events, you may feel there is no point in planning for the future because of the disruption and uncertainty.

No matter what the situation, we all sometimes need support to tap into our strengths and encouragement as we take the first steps. I offer life coaching to help you through any challenges as you work towards your goals.

Mindfulness Life Coaching brings an additional element as you gain an understanding of the natural human response to environmental and personal stresses and can develop greater self-knowledge. This enables you to manage difficulties in ways that promote your wellbeing and the achievement of your goals.

Who I work with

I work with young people (from age 14) and adults to develop confidence, self-esteem and to value your wellbeing and happiness. I will listen to you, support you to come up with your own answers and encourage you to take steps to achieve what you want for your life.

Coaching is available face to face in Bristol when permitted, or online via Zoom or Skype elsewhere.

Training, qualifications & experience

Diploma in Life Coaching and Mindfulness Coaching

Certificate in Fitness Instruction

MSc Public Health, Physical Activity and Nutrition

PGCE Primary

BA (Hons) History and Sociology

I have over 13 years’ experience working with children, young people and adults, where I provided support and encouragement for achieving life goals, initially training as a teacher before going on to work in children’s services and for housing organisations. I have had a longstanding personal interest in health and wellbeing and I later went on to train in fitness and health, following which I worked in several health promotion roles. The favourite part of my work is to help people to realise their strengths and make positive changes to improve their lives and wellbeing, so moving into coaching provides me with the opportunity to focus solely on this.

I am particularly interested in coaching young people who may not have ready access to one-to-one personalised support due to caring responsibilities, being in care or facing other challenging life circumstances.
