About me

Hi, I'm Isabelle and I am a Professional Development Coach and Trainer.

I work with leaders, aspiring leaders, and their teams to move from good to great performance. We work through confidence and mindset issues, learn how to connect to meaning and purpose, and develop strategies to align individual AND organisational needs.

Through a blend of coaching, training, insights and strategy, I partner with you to move you and your teams from good to great.

If you’re investing in professional development for yourself of your organisation, you want strategies that actually work and are easy to implement! And what’s more, you want those strategies to relate to the real challenges or opportunities that you are facing now or will face in the future. My approach is data-driven, evidence-based and rooted in behavioural science.

I'd love to chat with you, to understand how I might be able to help you and your organisation. Please do get in touch if you'd like to find out more!

Professional Development Coaching

There are so many  benefits to investing in a professional coach, but at its heart of any coaching program is the intention to drive meaningful change. Coaching gives leaders and managers space to think creatively, a safe environment to explore factors affecting their performance, learn how to develop their self-trust and trust in their team, and fully connect with what’s most important to them and the organisation.

Team Coaching

Many organisations call in external team coaches when their team is floundering or facing performance challenges. Research shows that, in fact, team coaching is most effective with teams that are already performing fairly well – team coaching can move such teams from good to great performance and can also help ‘future-proof’ teams that are poised for change and growth.

Team coaching doesn’t need to be prohibitively expensive either. Use of an evidence-based psychometric, such as the Team Diagnostic Survey followed by a team coaching session based on the results, can help you identify areas where your team might need a little extra support and understand where best to focus your attention as the team develops.

A well-functioning, high-performing team will save you so much time and money in the long run in so many ways and will help to ensure that your staff are self-motivated, engaged, and invested in the tasks they are performing.

I provide training on a range of professional development topics – both pre-written and bespoke. If you choose me to provide training to your organisation you will get:

  • Academic research and evidence-based models (but I will make them fun, understandable and engaging)
  • Behavioural strategies that are backed up by the research
  • Consolidating theory with practice
  • Helping attendees identify and commit to what learnings they are going to take out of the training room and into the real world.
  • Curiosity and active listening
  • You won’t get:
  • Fluffy, vague or superfluous content
  • Cliched subject matter or cheesy inspirational quotes
  • Pre-formed opinions about the ‘right’ way to do something – YOU are the expert of your organisation, and there is no ‘one size fits all’ in business. In fact your uniqueness is what makes you great!

Psychometrics, surveys and reflective exercises can be really useful ways to gain further insight into the factors that influence job satisfaction, performance, strengths, behavioural preferences and more. Whether you need a temperature check of team engagement or a comprehensive evaluation of how your team is operating as a unit, we’ll find a tool to suit your requirements and enhance your training and coaching program.

It is likely that you know the many benefits of training, coaching and team development and want to ensure that your people have great resources to help them be engaged, effective and work together well.

However, have you considered:

  • How your Learning and Development Plan all fits together?
  • How do you embed a coaching culture, where employees know how to embody company values, and how do you make changes that will stick and becoming self-sustaining?
  • How do you accommodate both individual and organisational needs, so that your employees feel fulfilled and autonomous, but the organisation’s KPIs are kept in mind at all times?
  • And how do you become a true learning organisation – where people are fully supported to grow and innovate?
  • Are you looking for a partner to untangle some of these questions and help you to put a strategy in place?

Get in touch to discuss how I can help you bring the many threads of your Professional Development and Operational Plan together.

MSc in Research Method and Psychological Assessment

BSc in Psychology

I’m a coach, trainer, psychologist and business owner. I’m also a mum of 3, living in Hampshire who loves being creative, spending time in nature and hanging out with my friends and family.

Having worked in a scientific field for over 20 years (psychology, neuroscience and clinical research) and with two psychology degrees (BA and MSc), my aim is to help organisations to bring evidence-based thinking to their coaching and training programmes.

I worked in corporate for a long time and gained extensive experience of delivering workshops and webinars to large corporate groups, leading and managing psychological assessment and team development training programs. I have presented in a wide variety of settings in my time - over zoom, teams, via in-house learning management systems, and in-person at large international meetings.

I loved the fast pace of corporate life, and the varied and exciting projects I was able to work on, as well as the brilliant people I was able to work alongside. But having entered the corporate world as a Research and Assessment Psychologist and moving more and more into senior leadership, I started to feel that I’d lost connection with the things I really love to do, and the kinds of people I really loved to work with.

I set up my own business in 2018 because I wanted to do things my way. I knew that I had great skills to share and wanted to build a business based on my own values, doing work that I loved, and feeling good about what I was putting out into the world. I picked up some research consultancy work, and then decided to add to my business offerings by certifying as a Team Diagnostic Practitioner and then as a Professional Coach (ACTP accredited). This brought together my love of psychology, my passion for working with people and my genuine desire to make an impact on the world.

With my 2 psychology degrees, a Professional Coaching Diploma (ACTP), and membership of both the International Coaching Federation and the British Psychological Society, I take professional credentials very seriously! I am committed to continued professional development, staying up to date on the latest research, attending numerous additional courses, and working with peer coaches to ensure that my coaching skills are keep sharp and in line with professional competency standards.
