About me

Do you sometimes act in ways that you find frustrating and confusing?

You are not alone! The primary aim of our minds is to try to keep us safe from threat. This can be really useful - we need our minds to move us away from threats quickly and effectively! However, sometimes our brain makes the wrong predictions, sees the world in ways that aren't necessarily helpful, and can lead us to develop thoughts, feelings and patterns of behaviour that just don't serve us. We fear judgement from others, getting things wrong, being excluded, or being emotionally hurt. When this happens, we can put up barriers, and allow our thoughts and feelings to drive our actions and this often shows up as us behaving unlike the person we truly aspire to be.  

How can you move past the behaviours that are standing in the way of the life you really want?

My coaching approach is largely based around the Acceptance and Commitment Coaching model. which is based on the premise that difficult thoughts and emotions are something that we all experience from time to time, but that those thoughts and feeling can sometimes keep us stuck and prevent us from taking action towards what’s most important and meaningful to us. I help my clients to connect to their personal and professional values, to help them move through self-doubt, imposter thoughts, challenges with confidence and indecision and become the leader or manager they aspire to be.

What can you expect from a coaching session with me?

You can expect my coaching sessions to be supportive, challenging and action-focused, working as a true thinking partner to explore what sustained and meaningful change looks like to you and helping you to explore effective ways to achieve it.

What qualifications do I have? 

Qualifications are super-important to me! I want to reassure all my clients that I have the skills and knowledge to support the work I am doing with them. I have two degrees in psychology, a team coaching practitioner certification, a Professional Coaching Diploma and attend regular CPD courses to keep my skills sharp and up to date. I am accredited with the International Coaching Federation and abide by their code of ethics. I am also a member of the British Psychological Society, including the Coaching Psychology chapter.  I receive regular coaching supervision to maintain the quality and integrity of my work

Training and Coaching Programmes

I help organisations to bring evidence-based thinking to their coaching and training programmes, using techniques that are rooted in behavioural science. I have extensive experience of designing and delivering presentations, workshops and webinars to a wide range of corporate groups, including the legal profession, the clinical research industry, education and training organisations, and the third sector.

Previous topics have included effective workplace relationships, imposter syndrome, developing self-awareness, effective feedback conversations, time management and productivity, psychological skills for well-being and workplace effectiveness, and many more.

Before setting up my own consultancy, I worked as a Senior Leader in clinical trial delivery, and have a keen understanding of the many demands of working in fast-paced, high-stakes environments and so bring plenty of real world examples to my training content. I aim to make my workshops fun and engaging, consolidating theory with practice, and focuses on supporting delegates to identify and commit to the learning they will take outside of the workshop and into the working world.

My packages are bespoke to you and your needs and therefore prices can depend on the services you select. I have included some guide prices to give you an indication of general ballpark:

£625 for a package of 6 sessions (individuals)

£750 day rate for corporate coaching and training
