About me

I have qualified as a coach for over 2 years and I provide 1 to 1 coaching sessions. I do this alongside my regular job, which is based in London. I have had to work really hard on building my confidence and resilience, so I understand the challenges that get presented along the way. For example, self sabotage, negative thinking, anxiety. Sometimes it's not just about dealing with your own thoughts it's also about coping with other people too. If you work with difficult people, for example, with strong personalities this can add to those challenges. They may lower your self belief, self esteem and confidence. Coaching can not only help build those aspects back up but also protect them from getting battered and eroded.

How can I help?

I help my clients reduce stress and anxiety in order be more resilient and confident at work. I also help them balance work and home life so they can lead happy and contented lives. I help my clients to work on various aspects of their lives such as being assertive, setting boundaries, positive thinking, reduce negative self talk and identifying strengths.

What to expect from my coaching sessions

The International Coaching Federation defines coaching as "partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximise their personal and professional potential." Coaching sessions with me will work in this way. The sessions will help you move forwards towards where you want to be, to "maximise" your "potential". In a way that explores aspects that are important to you. All sessions are client led. This means if you don't want to talk about anything, this will be respected. The aim of each session is to help you develop your potential, build your confidence and build your resilience.

Where you are unsure of your direction or you are trying to make a difficult decision, coaching can help you with those areas. Coaching will help you with self-improvement and personal development. These are aspects we can explore during our sessions.

What will happen in your first session

During our first session we will explore your aims and purpose for requesting coaching sessions. As part of this, I will need to ask deeper questions and at times probing questions to really get under the hood of what is going on for you. This may be uncomfortable, which we will stop talking about if it's difficult to progress. I will work to get an understanding of where you are at the moment and where you want to be and how you feel about that "bit in-between". We may start to identify blocks which we will then explore in further sessions, however it may take a couple of sessions to identify them. This is because it will take us both time to feel truly comfortable and build a relationship. This first session is the foundation for the rest of the sessions and we will build on this going forwards.

What happens next

From the outset you would have paid for a minimum of four, one hour sessions. These sessions can be every week or fortnightly, depending on your needs. Each session will build on the last ensuring your moving towards your end goal. We both may feel you require more than four sessions and therefore we will get them booked in.
