Gaynor Wood Bsc (Hons), MNCP (Reg), CTAA : Executive Performance Coach
My Mission – To inspire others to live authentic and fulfilling lives both personally and professionally. And I can achieve this through coaching.
I believe that we all have the capacity for personal growth. The ability to realise our own potential through self-discovery. But most often people find it difficult to achieve and need the support and encouragement that I as your Coach can offer you. This takes place in a safe, fun, and supportive environment, one in which you can explore your goals and aspirations.
My coaching programme is personal to you and your individual needs. But the aim remains the same – for you to make positive changes in aspects of your life.
This is achieved by using a solution focused approach to personal development which is aimed at helping people make positive and lasting changes in specific areas of their lives; which in turn allows them to realise their true potential.
For example, my clients have had success through coaching in many areas of their lives, for example-
- Achieved promotion at work which has increased their earnings potential.
- Have become more emotionally resilient both at home and work, which in turn has enabled them to become better Managers and Leaders and partners.
- Improved their self-esteem and confidence following redundancies/ relationship problems/ bullying issues within schools and workplace settings.
- Felt empowered to make life changing decisions in their life, for example, set up new business’s / change of career direction / made important relationship decisions.
I want you to become the best version of yourself. To become more focused, confident, and happy in all areas of your life.
I am open and flexible in respect of where sessions are held and have held sessions whilst people are walking their dog, as this is where they feel relaxed and happy talking! Obviously, until our current lockdowns are over, sessions will not be in person.
If you would like to have a free 30-minute discovery session with me to determine whether coaching is suitable for your needs, please contact me. I am happy to have an initial 1:1 free 30 minute chat with you to determine your needs, and to get a feel for whether you would be comfortable working with me.

"I would like to thank you most sincerely for all your help. When I thought I couldn't reach my goals, you showed me patience, understanding and gave me time, and it helped me to reach my potential. I am still using all the tools that you showed me, not only with the issue that I came to you with, but also in other aspects of my life that I wanted to improve. And the saying “The difference between who you are and who you want to be it what you do" is very true! I have never felt so comfortable and at ease with someone as I have with you. Once again, Thank you for helping me to bring out the best in me. You have influenced my life for the better. I will certainly recommend you and should I ever need any further coaching I will be back! " Jane RB
"Since working with Gaynor, I have noticed a marked improvement in my self-esteem and confidence. I have always found it difficult to self-reflect and verbalise my strengths. Though a series of exercises and conversations during our coaching sessions, Gaynor has helped me to tackle this issue. It is an ongoing process for me, but one which I now find considerably less daunting. Gaynor is a natural facilitator, and she has helped me to overcome personal and professional barriers to self-improvement. There is still plenty of work for me to do to reach my ultimate goals, but with Gaynor's help and support, I know I can achieve my goals". Stephen T.
"A big thank you Gaynor for all your help and support. You have taught me new ways of coping with the stresses of life, and its made a big difference to how I handle situations". CW.
"I commenced life coaching sessions with Gaynor in December 2019. I needed someone to bounce my thoughts off. I had reached a crossroads in my career and needed a catalyst to help my thought process. We had a good rapport, and our sessions were held in a non-judgemental atmosphere, and I felt I could be open with her. There was no sense that the sessions were anything other than being about me. Gaynor is very professional and helped me to clarify my thoughts and I decided to invest a period of time in a different type of role which then opened up a entirely different career path for myself. I would highly recommend Gaynor Wood as a Performance Coach and have no hesitation in recommending her to friends and colleagues". John W.
"Hi Gaynor,Just a note to say thank you so much for coaching me over the past few months. You have helped me analyse a few home truths, and it has greatly helped me to take a few small steps of action that I do not think I would have made without undertaking our sessions. Your calm yet friendly and very non-judgemental approach allowed me to open up, reflect and contemplate and understand what is important to me. I would always be happy to recommend you to anyone who wanted or needed some life coaching, as it has helped me gain much needed direction in a difficult time. Many thanks". Louise S
"Gaynor provided me with life coaching sessions when I needed it the most in my life. It helped me make important decisions at a time I felt like everything was falling apart around me. Gaynor is brilliant at her job and I would highly recommend her, she has a way of making me smile and laugh again and I am very grateful for all the support she provided me". Patricia A.
"Thank you Gaynor for helping me to gain the confidence I was lacking. I now have a different positive attitude at work which has been noticed. So hopefully I will get that promotion I want". MH.
