About me

We all have the right to make the very best of ourselves; some can simply do this, while others need support to get there. Coaching, combined with NLP techniques and hypnotherapy, provide a powerful set of tools to assist in achieving change.

By working together in a coaching partnership, you can work out what your goals are and where you want to be. You can identify the milestones on the route to your success and you can establish ways to overcome any barriers that may be in your way.

The Initial Consultation Once you get in touch with me, we will arrange a first telephone contact. This gives me the chance to explain what I can offer and establish what you want to achieve. More importantly, it provides you the chance to ask questions and find out if you believe that I can provide the support that you are looking for. We will also work out how many sessions we will need so that you can achieve your goals. There is no charge for this session.

Prior to the First Session If we agree to go ahead with the coaching partnership, you will need to complete three tasks prior to the first session; sign a coaching agreement, complete a short questionnaire, and send me a life story. This helps prepare us for the first session, and saves some time in that session.

The First Session I use this session to ask you about what you have told me about yourself, and establish in more detail what your goals are and what they mean to you. We look at the skills you have, what new skills you may need and if there are any barriers to your success.

I will then support you to work out a plan which you know that you can achieve, and establish the steps that you will need to take to get from where you are now to where you want to be. By the end of the session, you will be clear on what your goal is, the steps you need to take and what your first step will be. You will be ready.

Follow-Up Sessions Each subsequent session will allow you to review your progress, identify your successes, and analyse any barriers so that you can overcome them. It also gives you a chance to review your end goal; be sure that it remains the right goal, or adapt it to your new destination.

The timing of each follow-up session depends very much on you, the steps you are planning to take and the nature of your end goal. However, I would expect the first follow-up to be no more than two weeks after the first session to ensure that you are on track and to recognise the progress that you have made.

Further information

"Gary – thank you so much for your calm, thoughtful and intuitive coaching sessions. Through our telephone conversations you have helped me to prioritise, develop and explore my own thinking around setting up a small business. Our conversations and the challenges you set me have also helped me to gain a greater insight into my own abilities and move my new venture to the next level. Your relaxed, friendly and focussed approach has made our sessions very rewarding. Thank you!" R. Oxfordshire

"I booked in with Gary for hypnosis for smoking cessation.  I was really impressed with the service provided from start to finish.  Corresponding and arranging sessions was done easily and efficiently. He arrived on time and well prepared for the face to face sessions. I was a very very dedicated smoker - too ashamed to admit how many I was smoking a day - what better testimony can there be than to say 9 weeks in that I have not had even a puff and not have I been close. Thoroughly recommend this therapist" C. Northamptonshire

"Thank you for the coaching. I feel ready to face the future after a very difficult few months. You have been very patient with me, giving me time to explore all that has happened and where i want to get to in the future. The hypnotherapy was a real turning point for me... I was so sure it wouldn't work and yet it has made a big difference. Thank you!" A. Northamptonshire
