I am a career and life coach with a warm and friendly coaching style. I am fascinated by the positive changes that young people can make in their lives after only a few coaching sessions and how easily they grasp what coaching is about.
My life priorities have completely changed since having my daughter and it has made me appreciate even more, how important it is to support and empower young people through coaching.
How Coaching Can Help
I coach young people from teenagers at school to university students to young adults just starting out in their careers. I help them to:
- build confidence
- gain motivation
- clarify their options
- set goals for the future
- manage stress and distractions
- learn how to prioritize
Prior to the pandemic, I was coaching Year 11 students preparing for their GCSEs at a London secondary school, Many of the students felt pressure to achieve and the coaching sessions helped them to "let off steam" and leave with practical strategies to manage stress and distractions. Others were bored by the routine "get up, school, study, repeat", so in the sessions, we looked at ways for them to become stimulated and creative again.
I have coached many people in their 20's and 30's facing what is known as a Quarter-life crisis. I help people get to know themselves again, connect with their talents, passions, and values to find a more meaningful career/life direction.
I also work with educational establishments providing 1:1 coaching for teachers and lecturers and run coaching skills courses giving educators an extra coaching tool kit.
What to expect in your first session
In our first session, we will either meet face to face or speak online. We will talk confidentially about the things that are currently bothering you and discuss ways we can work together to move you forward. Coaching is a positive experience and one of the students commented "She actually cares and tries to help".
