About me

Who I work with

I offer coaching to anyone who feels stuck or adrift and would value some support in navigating the road ahead.

We might work together if you’re seeking to:

  • reconnect with what’s most important to you
  • rewrite the stories you tell yourself that hold you back
  • rediscover your confidence
  • reduce stress and overwhelm
  • find your focus and make progress towards your goal
  • make an informed decision
  • make a change in your career

My coaching approach

My role as your coach is to ask appropriate questions and introduce activities to help you look at your situation in a new light and gain clarity about the way forward.

I will:

  • encourage self-discovery
  • encourage forward and positive thinking
  • help you identify and set goals
  • challenge when appropriate
  • gain your commitment to act and hold you accountable

My style is empathetic, instinctive, pragmatic and supportive. These are all words my previous clients have used to describe me. As a quiet soul don’t be alarmed if I don’t say much, after all the focus of our work is you and your thoughts.

How we might work together

I don't follow a prescribed approach or have off-the-peg programmes because everyone is different. Our work together is informed by who you are, what you want to get from coaching and the time available. We’ll work out a plan together.

For example, we might:

  • take a single session to focus on a specific challenge or goal
  • use a block of sessions over a few months to identify what you really want and make a plan for how you can get there
  • follow any initial sessions with a series of shorter accountability check-ins

The starting point is a free, no obligation, conversation where we can explore your needs and the various coaching options. Get in touch to book your free call.

The best guide to what it's like to work with me is to hear about it from previous clients, so here are a few testimonials...

"After the first session, I knew Emma would be a good fit, because of her ability to build a strong rapport with me, and the way she heard and helped me clarify the goals of our work. After only a handful of sessions, I felt equipped to continue the work around my goal, and was ready to talk with Emma about coaching me through another professional goal!"
— Jennifer, Educator

"Emma’s coaching was vital to building my confidence and helping me find a clear sense of my own value during a difficult year of transition in my career. She helped me choose the direction I wanted to go in and her coaching process enabled me to feel like I was finding the solutions to problems I struggled to even define before we started."
— Ross, Write and Editor

"Emma was very professional, warm and easy to open up to. I found her style of insightful and challenging questions the right balance to move me forward and feel I have learnt so much about my business and how I operate in it, in just 6 weeks. She helped me to remember to slow down and take time to take a step back and look at the bigger picture."
