About me
Hello, I’m Emma.
I’m a dual-qualified, highly experienced coach and counsellor with a psychotherapy background. I help people build better relationships and create more meaningful and fulfilling lives. I work with individuals, couples and teams, in both personal and professional contexts.
I hold accreditation from both the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and the European Mentoring and Coaching Council (EMCC), ensuring I provide the highest possible ethical and professional standards.
Before becoming a qualified coach, counsellor and couples therapist, I spent 20 years in the corporate world, holding senior roles in talent management and executive recruitment across a number of industries. In my early 40s, I made a life-changing decision to transition from this career. Driven by my passion for understanding and supporting others, I embarked on a lengthy training journey to use my skills as a coach and therapist.
Coaching allows me to work with individuals who are focused on making actionable, goal-oriented changes in their personal or professional lives. I work with people across a whole range of issues, from those figuring out their next career steps to those who are launching a new business, or embarking on a new relationship. I can help people feel more empowered to take big decisions and also support those who simply want to understand themselves better.
My psychotherapeutic training allows me to work at emotional depth with my coaching clients. While we won't be sitting in the past, it can be useful to think about our formative years and past experiences to understand the present. Importantly though, our work will be much more focused on the present and future, working out how to create the life, career and relationships that you want.
