Is your child struggling with confidence, low self-esteem or anxiety? Are you struggling as a family to navigate some of the complex inner battles your teenager might be experiencing? My coaching services support young people and their families help themselves to make their lives better.
I am a qualified Life Coach trained to help both adults and children. I am particularly interested in childhood and adolescent mental health having undertaken specialist training in this area and worked with teenagers for over two years. However, I also enjoy supporting adults, including parents of children where family coaching might be beneficial, such as where parents may need support in understanding the problems their child may be experiencing.
Through coaching, young people and their families can really help themselves make their life better. It can ignite ambition in my young clients, encouraging self-belief and helping them unlock their potential, improving relationships with other family members too.
I am keen on supporting clients manage anxiety and building their confidence. There are many areas that can be worked on which include discovering and challenging your own limiting beliefs, the impact of external factors, building resilience, improving communication and becoming more self-aware. When these areas are understood, and the individual has learnt how to focus on them it can help them move towards a happier life and a clearer future.
Generally, there is always a way someone can be supported, even in the most challenging of situations. It starts with building a good foundation and relationship together to develop trust and work out what is important to the client and a plan that is suited to them.
I have developed a way of working with young people, adapting to each young person I meet and their needs, talking in their language and on their terms, communicating with them at a level they can understand and relate to.
Most sessions are carried out online video chat, but face to face sessions can be arranged at an agreed location if preferred. Sessions are between 45-60 minutes and start with weekly meetings, which moves to fortnightly or monthly as the personalised plan progresses.
Please get in touch if you or your child are struggling and needs some support to improve the situation. You have the answers. I’m here to support and encourage you.
