About me

I am a qualified Executive Life Coach and Occupational Therapist and can help you focus on your well-being, work/life balance and the life changes you wish to make. You may wish to make changes personally or professionally and I can provide a safe space to empower you to explore those issues and achieve your goals.

I have worked in the NHS for 25 years with people who have anxiety, depression and self esteem issues and have always enjoyed working with people and listening to peoples stories; I believe we all have a life story that is unique to us and to our journey. There are points in life can become imbalanced and I offer a safe space for people to explore their issues. I am experienced in executive coaching and can offer sessions face to face or via zoom platforms.
I have developed a creative approach to coaching and use different interventions depending on the needs of person. I work with people on issues such as career changes, work-life balance, parenting styles, anxiety and self-esteem.

I am a mother of twins and a step-parent. Outside of work I love going for coffee with friends, going for walks, swimming, and spa days.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am registered as an Occupational Therapist with the HCPC and a qualified coach, having completed my diploma in coaching and mentoring.  I am a member of the South West Coaching Council. I work in accordance with the European Code of Ethics for coaches. I completed my degree in Occupational Therapy in 2001 and went on to do further training in counselling skills, solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing and coaching models.

My post graduate certificate in Occupational Therapy focused on the use of therapeutic stories and listening to a person’s narrative in therapy.

I am a supervisor and mentor to Occupational Therapists in the NHS and have developed and delivered training programmes for junior therapists.

I was Head Therapist for community and in-patient mental health services and have managed the staff counselling service. I have managed therapy and occupational health services, supporting people with anxiety and depression and helping them return to work. I have been a panel member for Department, Work and Pensions, advising on return to work.

If a life coach's premises aren't step-free, they may offer alternative services such as telephone/web-based appointments, home visits, or meeting clients in different location, so you can choose the option that suits you best.

You can contact the life coach to discuss the options available.

Under the Equality Act 2010 service providers have a duty to make reasonable adjustments to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access their service. You can read more about reasonable adjustments to help you to access services on the CAB website.
