I offer a number of programmes: Winning Women Life Coaching (to address a broad spectrum of issues), Dating Confidence, and Moving Forwards after Divorce or Relationship Breakdown. I also offer hypnotherapy and NLP to deal with phobias, smoking cessation, weight loss mindset etc.
I am collaborating with Select Personal Introductions as their in-house dating coach, and with Maple Dental in Sale, Manchester to help patients with needle and dentist phobias.
My clients are almost exclusively women, of all ages, who are often at a transition point or facing a significant life change. Or they are feeling 'stuck', lacking motivation and direction. Often a fear or phobia can be holding them back in life or they want support to reduce anxiety and increase confidence. Does this resonate with you?

Training, qualifications & experience
I'm a professional transformational coach holding a Diploma in Performance Coaching with Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP), accredited by the National Council of Psychotherapists. I've also studied psychology at degree level and completed The Breakthrough System training programme with the (Anthony) Robbins-Madanes Training Centre. I've mentored secondary school students and I'm a 'Firework' trained career transition coach, accredited by the International Coach Federation. I have undertaken further training in NLP and hypnotherapy with world-renowned coach, NLP specialist and hypnotherapist, Ali Campbell who is currently my mentor.
After being widowed over 20 years ago I've brought up 2 now-adult children. I've done that sometimes confusing and scary dating thing in later life where all the rules seem to have changed and no-one tipped you off. I've successfully transitioned from one career to another and I've enjoyed travelling abroad alone many times, often to acquire new skills such as learning a language, photography and sailing.
With a career spanning many years in Human Resource Management I've observed at close hand a range of often challenging, surprising, but always interesting human behaviour. This followed a portfolio career encompassing self-employment in a creative field including TV presenting, interior design, tutoring and consulting in decorative paint effects.
Do I have life sewn up? Do I have all the answers? No, absolutely not! Of course there are times when life throws me a curveball and things go a bit pear-shaped. But what I do have are the tools to help me recognise what I'm experiencing and to work my way through the challenges. I can help you too.

It been around 6 years since I developed my fear. It’s lead to panic attacks and anxiety, which has caused me to cancel plans and avoid going out with friends amongst many other things. When a friend suggested I speak to Debra, I was definitely skeptical at first as I thought I was beyond help and thought it was too good to be true. I had my session with Debra on a Monday, and on the Wednesday, I was able to go out for drinks with friends without any worry or fear, which is something I haven’t been able to do for a long time! So, thank you Debra, for giving me my life back!
I have enjoyed it immensely - it was like having a new very wise best friend to listen and chat about me. The sessions did make me realise how little time I actually spend focussing on myself and considering matters. You have helped to show me the way by breaking things down and looking at specific areas I need to focus on, and an ingenious method of neutralising certain awkward moments. In the last few years I have understood the importance of balance in my life and your work, I feel, is so much connected to that. What do they say - 'it's good to talk'. It's been invaluable!
I went to see Debra for help with a needle phobia, which I have had for many years. As I need to be able to do finger tip blood testing as part of my job, this was something that I needed to now overcome. She set me at ease straight away and asked me some relevant questions before we started the session. She was flexible with her approach and used a couple of different techniques with me, to find what would work best. I felt very relaxed and although I am not sure how it works I have subsequently been able to do blood testing on friends and family...including Debra! I would highly recommend this non invasive therapy and Debra’s calm and positive approach.
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started coaching with Debra. She helped me identify some key areas to focus on and encouraged me to give further thought outside our sessions. Just by 'allowing' myself some timeout to think about these very important issues has made a huge difference as I have begun to realise they were actually holding me back.
Debra provided just the right environment for this type of self development, she was warm and friendly and very professional throughout. I would have no hesitation in recommending her to others.
I really didn't know what to expect from our coaching sessions and I have to admit I was a little apprehensive about it! However you immediately made me feel at ease and I quickly realised this was something that could help me. You made me question myself and managed to get me to voice and admit things to myself that I suppose I always knew were there but hadn't previously felt able to face up to. More importantly to realise that there was something I could do to improve my situation.
I'm very hard on myself ... but with your kind words you have made me look at my achievements rather than the failures, so thank you for that! In the last session we discussed many ways in which to enrich my life and I have already started to look into a few of these, so watch this space! Thank you so much, Debra.
