David Crowe- Personal and Professional Development Coach and Coach Supervisor
There are a lot of reasons people consider coming into coaching. It may be that you are at a career crossroads and not sure where to go next, lack confidence or are struggling with balancing work and home life for example. I can help you work through these issues to gain clarity and understanding, and support you with managing the changes you want to make.
I am an accredited Executive, Career and Personal Development Coach working with a range of people in the public and private sector in coaching projects in areas like career change, personal development and building confidence. Coaching seeks to enable people to make desirable and beneficial changes in both their professional and personal lives, to support them to develop and grow.
A coaching project usually involve several sessions over the space of several months, with each session followed up by reflections and actions you would take away to work on, although the number of sessions is totally flexible. Support is also offered by email and telephone in between sessions, and feedback given on areas such as coaching tools, career plans and similar things. I work with people both face to face and using Skype or Zoom.
I also offer 1-1 Coaching supervision. Supervision is becoming increasingly important in the world of coaching practice. Supervision helps Coaches reflect on their coaching practice in a safe space to support their ongoing growth and development as a Coach.I am a trained Coaching Supervisor and have worked with many individuals and groups over many years. I set up the Buckinghamshire Coaches network two years ago where experienced Coaches provide peer supervision to each other.
I take a holistic approach to coaching to enable people to make desirable and beneficial changes in both their professional and personal lives that help them develop and grow. I recognise for people to grow and flourish, there are a complex mix of psychological and practical factors that help sustain real change.
I focus on unlocking and unfolding people’s potential underpinned by a solid understanding of human experience and how people change taken from over 25 years experience of working with groups and individuals. I have a sound psychological understanding of the areas of counselling and psychological therapies having trained in them that enhance my coaching practice.

I am happy to talk through your needs with a free no obligation face to face session, Skype call or phone call initially.
Typically, a coaching programme over a 4-5 month period which includes face to face sessions, and email and telephone contact in between is around £700. One off sessions are around £90 per hour for private individuals.
There is some cost flexibility depending on whether the sessions are funded by an employer or privately funded, so do discuss with me; programmes are tailored to suit individual and business needs as every person is different.

Feedback from clients
"I started working with David at a time in my life when I was deeply unhappy. I didn’t know if this was work related but I knew that I wasn’t performing at my best, and wasn’t feeling fully engaged with all that working life has to offer. I felt shut off, uninspired and exhausted. When I first met David I trusted him right away. His thoughtful, flexible and honest approach was perfectly suited to me. After only a few sessions he had me really opening up and was fantastic at gently probing to see what I needed to do to feel more like myself again. He gave me confidence to speak to those around me – at work and at home – and tell them what I needed to do. After working with David for a few months my foundation was built back up again, and David and I then transitioned more to working on on a much more positive footing. We started talking about my ambitions, identifying my strengths and thinking about what kind of career I wanted" (private client)
“I have gained clarity over my role and future career” (Self Employed HR Consultant)
“David was excellent at keeping me on track and encouraging me to put effort into this; there have been tangible business benefits” (Managing Director of Car dealership)
"I've known David for a number of years now, having met David at a previous employer. I enjoy David's coaching style, whilst encouraging my growth and giving me the skills to make life changes, David has also shown compassion and empathy, which has been very helpful during some particularly challenging times. David is currently coaching me through a major life change, having decided to leave a secure, well paid role in the City to try my hand at self employment. David has been helpful at steering me through the moments of real challenge during this change. And above all else, David is just a really nice bloke to chat to - and that in itself is a really great thing. Highly recommended". (private client)
“I have been particularly impressed at how well David’s questioning technique drew out the ‘real’ issues very early on. This is also testament to his excellent rapport building skills, which made me feel comfortable enough to share difficult work situations with him. David is also very empathic which makes you feel reassured and safe irrelevant of what you are sharing” (Manager in Training organisation)
