About me

Making a significant change in your life can be exciting, sometimes also daunting. Coaching with me is the chance to fully explore the changes you want to make. I'll help you work out what needs to happen for you to successfully achieve your goals.

Why coaching with me?

Having worked in education for over 20 years, both as an educator and behind the scenes, I am passionate about helping others reach their full potential and lead lives that are happy and meaningful.

With this one life, we owe it to ourselves to make the most of it. Often I see people who want to live a life they love, but are held back by fear and a lack of self-confidence.

I became a coach so that I can help others overcome what's holding them back. Whether you have a goal in mind or are struggling to know where to start, I'll help you to work out how you can make the changes you want.

How I can help

Each of us has the ability to discover what we need. I'll ask you series of questions, offer some thoughts on what I'm hearing from you and sometimes challenge your way of thinking - all designed to encourage you to reflect and work out what you need to do to achieve your goals.

I'll invite you to see different options and perspectives, and we'll build a better awareness of your strengths.

We'll also look at what's holding you back. Together we'll challenge any doubts and use your new awareness to get past them, so that you can move towards your goals with more confidence.

Some of the areas in which I work with my clients include:

  • Career changes, progression and work-related issues
  • Life changes
  • Relationships at home or at work
  • Wanting to feel happier in life
  • Finding a sense of purpose and fulfilment
  • Confidence and self-esteem
  • Overcoming fears and anxiety
  • Getting past procrastination
  • Negative self-image
  • Being single and dating
  • Coming out and living LGBT+
  • Moving abroad
  • Living in the UK for the first time

Getting Started

For many people, coaching is a new experience and they are not sure what to expect. I want to give you the opportunity to experience coaching with me before fully committing to it.

We start with a short consultation on the phone. You can tell me about what your goal is and the issues you're facing at the moment.

We then move to your first coaching session. This is a one-off, low-cost session for an hour. If you decide at the end of your initial coaching session you don't wish to continue, that is absolutely fine. Coaching may not be for everyone, but it's always worth trying it out.

Please feel free to contact me to arrange our initial phone consultation.
