I am a coach who helps people who are at the beginning of an exciting new stage in their lives, whether it be personal or professional. I believe that in coaching there are two keys that can help you unlock the door - Awareness and Responsibility. Contacting me shows an awareness that you want to change or develop and through working together we can take that awareness and give it direction and ultimately shape a responsibility for making a new world for you to live in.

Having reoriented my own life and career from one of working in large organisations with a distinct set of rules, to creating and running my own coaching business (in 2011) reflecting my needs and choices, I am passionate about assisting others to change not only themselves but their environment in a way that reflects their own values.
Training, qualifications & experience
I am a husband, father, historian, writer, traveller, sportsman, and builder of things.
My career has been rich and varied and I have been fortunate to have worked on project development, coaching and training, and communications for government and parliament, universities, and for private sector consultancies and charities. The focus of the work has consistently been on improvement and relationship-building - creating and developing opportunities for organisations, and also for individuals, to explore and expand in positive and sustainable ways.
Over the last 2 decades, I have achieved two Masters degrees and a Ph.D. through research at Glasgow University, and a Certificate in Coaching Practice from APP.
Today I offer a wide range of programs and services - from individual coaching, to project development to business support and beyond.

Association for Coaching
The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

Free initial telephone session
Free 30 minute consultation - where we assess issues, discuss basic ‘fit’, and connect you to solutions and your best-case scenario and offer a choice to work together at the end.
Working with me is a minimum of 6 weeks, with a two-payment plan (6 weekly sessions; first payment up-front, second payment at 3 weeks).
9-4 Monday to Friday
Evening sessions are possible for an additional fee.
