About me

I'm a coach, consultant, and author with over 25 years experience specializing in helping individuals improve performance and personal/professional satisfaction in the UK and US. I offer a free exploratory consultation (approximately 20 mins) via phone or Skype to discuss your objectives and how coaching may work for you. I offer coaching face to face (London and Birmingham) or via Skype or on the phone.

I mostly work with executives, leaders, and individuals seeking to reach the top of their field. I also work frequently with women and individuals who would be considered more 'introverted'. My emphasis is on confidence, communication skill building, and strategic thinking.

I help my clients be their best, overcome labels and barriers, and give support as their coach, advisor, thinking partner and co-strategist on their journey. I prefer to think of myself as a 'thinking partner' rather than a coach because I see coaching as a very collaborative process, often bringing the individual's own wisdom to the surface to find the best way forward.

Who do I help? I help leaders and high performing individuals overcome their barriers to success, achieve their goals and thrive personally and professionally. I work primarily with senior and C-level leaders on motivation/performance, executive presence and effective communication skills.

I mostly help women and introverted leaders who want to learn strategies to take their career to the next level. I also work with individuals who are searching for purpose and meaning in their career and life as they explore their next chapter.

My approach is asset-based, which means we focus on positives and your individual strengths in our work together. Depending on your interest and comfort level, we can also work together using meditation techniques and Ericksonian therapy/hypnosis to help get to the root of what may be blocking your progress. If you have questions, please ask me and I'm happy to discuss.

For more information get a free 20 minute exploratory consultation. Call, text or email me to arrange a time that works for us both. I find it best to have a conversation with you to explain what I do and how we might work together. If I don't think I can help you, I'll tell you and give you steer on what might be a better resource for you to try. There is absolutely no obligation to work together after the consultation and you should never feel any pressure. It may even be that a brief chat is what you need to clarify if coaching is for you right now.

About me: I'm originally from Utah, USA where I earned a Masters degree in Human Resources Administration and Economics. I have worked in communications and change for global corporations in the UK and US for over 25 years including BP, GE, and Shell. As part of this work, I started advising senior leaders on presentation skills as I would write speeches and presentations for them. this evolved into an interest in Executive Presence and I became a certified image consultant and expert in impression management.

In 2000, my youngest son was diagnosed with autism. To learn how to help him, I studied various interventions and became immersed in behavioral psychology. I also began studying with experts in positive psychology and Ericskonian therapy. While this has been a powerful tool to help my son, it also became the underpinning of much of my professional work with senior leaders to help understand behavior and motivation. In 2002 I was introduced to Strengthsfinder and asset-focused work, which informs a lot of my practice and I encourage every client to complete their strengths questionnaire at the beginning of our work.

My interest in psychology led me to earn a Doctorate in Psychology with an emphasis in performance psychology - which is the overlap between organizational psychology and sport psychology, focusing on how to help individuals perform at optimal levels. My research topic was on introversion/extroversion in senior leaders and is the basis for developing coaching methods to help introverted individuals go beyond stereotypes to understand how they are introverted, specifically, and develop strategies to be seen, effective and succeed in any setting or company culture.

I am not inexpensive - but I do get results. I have always offered every client a complete refund if you are unsatisfied with our work together. No one has ever asked for a refund, but I feel it's important that you be completely happy with our work and what we achieve together - which is more important to me than money.

Ultimately, coaching is an investment in yourself and in your future and ideally my clients feel that working with me is well worth the investment in both time and money.

I have three fee structures listed below - please note while my fees may change I'm completely transparent and we discuss this all in advance of you ever paying for your sessions:

  • £300 for a single 90-minute 'deep dive' session to focus on a specific issue;
  • £2500 for a 10-session 'package' that can be used over 12 months;
  • £1600 per month for a 3-month coaching programme to support your journey which includes 1:1 coaching as often as needed, weekly email check ins, and access to bonus material

When we meet for your free 20-minute exploratory consultation we can discuss which option is best for you and alternatives. All fees are payable in advance. If you are unhappy with the coaching process for any reason, I offer a no questions asked refund.
