Coaching Technology Services Ltd - career coaching, leadership coaching

About us

My particular interest is in providing career coaching and leadership coaching to "quiet" people who often find it difficult to be seen and heard in corporate environments. They may struggle to get a word in edgeways in team meetings. Or may lack the confidence to speak up when they do have the floor. Sound familiar to you?! I also love helping clients who are “stuck” to reconnect with their career mojo. So they can switch to doing work that delights and inspires them. I have a corporate communications background, so I really enjoy supporting my clients to find their authentic voice, to develop their personal brand and to communicate with impact and confidence. I often work with people in the high-tech industries - videogames and broadcasting are part of my work history – as well as with academics and with public sector professionals.

My clients tell me my coaching style is exhilarating, motivating and supportive! They get fired up and inspired as a consequence. I like to bring energy to a session and to support my clients in moving forward and taking action in their careers and in their communication styles. I love using the Firework Career Coaching tools with my clients, since they get so much valuable self-insight as a result – and have some fun into the bargain!

Training, qualifications & experience

As a CTI-trained, Co-Active Professional Certified Coach (CPCC) who specialises in career coaching and leadership coaching, I aim to support my clients in every aspect of their life and work – whatever is most relevant and important. I am licensed as a Firework Career Coach and have an ILM Level 7 qualification in Executive Coaching and Leadership Mentoring. I am also licensed by the BPS (British Psychological Society) to administer a range of personality assessments including Myers-Briggs, NEO, Hogan, Lumina Spark/Leader, etc. I have an MSc in Organisation Behaviour from Birkbeck, University of London and also a PG Dip in Psychosynthesis counselling from UEL. Just as important as academic qualifications, however, are my many years of experience of working as a career and leadership coach and as a corporate communications professional, working at strategic and senior levels in public affairs, corporate communications, employer branding and stakeholder engagement. In the high-tech creative sectors; in central government and in multi-national major corporates. A great foundation for being a leadership and career coach! ! I have been actively coaching under the Coaching Technology banner since 2011.

We have verified that at least one professional at this organisation is registered with the relevant professional body.

Other areas of coaching I deal with

Navigating change and uncertainty:  Many clients come to me wanting to develop greater resilience and calm alongside the pursuit of their career and leadership development aspirations. There is so much change and uncertainty in the air currently!  Through our coaching work together, you can develop strategies to enable you to navigate change with confidence and equilibrium.

My fees for private clients start at £90 for an hour-long coaching session. For career coaching, reckon on 8+ coaching sessions in addition to an initial "discovery" session. For leadership coaching, assume a minimum of 4-6 coaching sessions (plus the initial "discovery"), depending on your coaching goals, for meaningful and lasting results. I have a different scale of fees for corporate clients, so if you are a company with leaders or managers requiring coaching or a related leadership development intervention, please contact me by email or text/ring/WhatsApp me on 0794 655 7399 and I'll happily supply details.

Further information

I offer a free 30-minute consultation call session to all my prospective clients. That call enables us to determine whether the "chemistry" between us as coach and client works well (or not) and to begin to identify the key goals for the coaching. My clients generally work with me for a period of three to six months. We usually meet a couple of times each month. This fortnightly frequency works well to generate the momentum and progress that most of my clients want. More frequent sessions can be scheduled, however, for those clients keen to make even quicker progress. For career coaching, do expect to do some homework in between sessions. It's all in a good cause - self-discovery and self-development - and my clients do get a lot out of it.
