In a world that increasingly values emotional intelligence and genuine connection, the constraints of outdated masculinity can feel suffocating. We grapple with evolving gender roles, trying to define ourselves as partners, fathers, and friends while battling old messages and societal expectations.
The relentless pressure to be strong, confident and successful – the expectation to be a rock in relationships and consistently successful at work, to have a clear understanding of our complex inner world that we can express at the drop of a hat; the constant need to project assuredness and control and look like we’ve got it all together - this is a heavy weight that many men carry and it can often cost us our very sense of self, impacting our mental and physical well-being. These intense pressures can leave us feeling profoundly isolated, constantly questioning our self-worth against often conflicting ideals of masculinity.
This isn't weakness; it's a very real pressure that can erode our sense of self, leaving us feeling deeply dissatisfied, disconnected and exhausted by the conflict between authenticity and conformity. - CMI Level 7 Certificate in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring
- Accredited Practitioner Coach Member of the EMCC (European Mentoring and Coaching Council)
- Certificate in Groupwork
- Diploma in Psychosynthesis Therapeutic Counselling
- Registered Member of the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy)

Experience
I have completed 500+ hours as a coach and 250+ hours working as a therapist in a range of organisational settings and in private practice. I returned to my first career (IT Relationship and Service Management) for just over a decade while I focused on establishing home and family life. I was made redundant in 2023 when I decided to build my own practice doing the work that I love. This is when I began to hone and develop my approach to therapeutic coaching, achieving both further coaching qualifications and achieving EMCC Coach Practitioner accreditation. I continue to provide coaching to corporate clients, volunteer as a therapist for a local mental health charity and continue to work towards BACP Accreditation.
I am in both therapeutic and coaching supervision and abide by both the EMCC and BACP code of ethics.

What is Therapeutic Coaching
Therapeutic Coaching blends the action-oriented approach of traditional coaching with the deeper understanding of emotions and patterns found in therapy, creating a holistic process in a dynamic and collaborative space that enables you to understand your current situation, explore your inner world and chart a path towards the future that you want.
Each coaching session is a focused and intentional conversation aimed at increasing your self-awareness, understanding your emotional landscape, exploring possibilities, and empowering you to take meaningful action towards a more fulfilling and well-aligned life. It's a partnership where your insights and experiences are central, guided by thoughtful inquiry and a commitment to your sustainable growth.
Sessions are usually online (but can be in person) and last either 60 or 90 mins. The frequency and duration of our work together depends on the exact nature of the work we’re doing together. For more details, please see further information in the Fees Section.
