How you can I help you?

I specialise in getting jobs, career change, career transition, redundancy, starting out as a freelance consultant and starting a new business. My experience and coaching knowhow is available to you to achieve your targets.

I will successfully guide you through the latest in complex recruitment processes, how recruiters operate and how to create a vibrant and robust job search campaign.

In the case of starting out in business, I will guide you through business modelling, stress testing the model, marketing and sales, to get you up and running with a well-planned, sustainable business.

What happens when a client first contacts me?

At first contact I prefer to listen. Tell me all about yourself and what it is we need to achieve. As your story unfolds I will discover the actions we need to take. A plan forms with an agreed outcome of what success will look like.

What can you expect from me as your coach?

A genuine commitment to your goals delivered with unshakeable enthusiasm and self-belief that we can achieve. A tenacity and drive that never wavers. I only work with clients on an “until successful” basis. I will keep supporting you until the agreed goals have been achieved.

What happens in your first session?

We get down to business. We team up to develop and execute the plan. It could be CVs and interviews or it could be business modelling and market research. I guarantee we will be getting very busy.

How often you would we meet?

We meet as often as the diary allows. In the beginning we may need to speak every day. I use phone, Skype, email, FaceTime and if you are located nearby we can meet face to face. We will be in constant contact and I’m available from 8am to 8pm Monday to Saturday. I’ll even deliver emergency coaching on a Sunday if you get an interview at short notice.

What does “unlimited support” really mean?

I will be there for you supporting you, guiding, advising, cheering you on for as long as it takes to achieve our agreed goals. There will come a time when the new job has been found or the new business is up and running when we no longer need to continue coaching. I do always hope however that we can stay in touch as friends.

Training, qualifications & experience

A career in Stockbroking and Investment Banking followed by a career in Human Resources Consultancy focusing on Recruitment, Training and Organisational Change, Chris has the broadest of experience across multiple sectors.

Chris started out in Stockbroking and is a former Registered Representative of the London Stock Exchange. This was followed by membership of the London International Financial Futures Exchange and many years broking and trading complex financial instruments both interbank and on global exchanges.

After 14 years in the City of London, Chris joined one of the UK’s leading training companies, delivering leadership training to major corporates such as British Telecom, Tesco and Barclays. Chris’ next career progression was to freelance in major organisational change projects. This started in 1999 with Prudential Insurance and then in 2001 Rolls-Royce. Chris stayed at Rolls-Royce as a Career Coach for 7 ½ years and then moved on to Recruitment projects for a mix of US, UK and European companies including Caterpillar, Harsco and BNP Paribas.

Currently Chris devotes his time to Career Coaching. Working with individuals to bring about career starts, changes and progressions.
