Cat Simmons Recalibration Coach
Thanks for taking the first step on your coaching journey and visiting my profile. Here is a bit more information about me and how I work.
You have decided it's time to change and refocus, but perhaps you don’t know where to start. Your head and heart tell you different things but you know somethings got to shift. You are your own expert but you need a space of non-judgement and positivity to propel you onto the next exciting phase of your life.
I help people recalibrate and return to self through a positive process of exploration and creativity. I work with those who have spent a lot of their energy supporting others and have perhaps forgotten how to put their own needs and dreams first. Working with me you will experience humour, total belief in your abilities and encouragement to bust out of the same old stuff and dissolve limiting beliefs. The underlying principle of self-care helps you to focus on moving forward in a way that puts your needs first. Making time for wellness through self-care is essential. I am a believer in the power of the green space and work to incorporate green space therapy as a way of recalibrating mind and body.
"Sounds like just what I need, how do I get started?"
It's simple - please visit my website where you can see more information about how we can work together and I answer the most common questions about coaching, logistics and practicalities.
There you can book a no-obligation Discovery call and you will be automatically sent a link for our call-in your confirmation email. This is a short chat to see if we are a good fit to work together, and for you to ask any questions you might have and for me to understand what you want to get out of coaching. If you are happy to continue, your sessions can easily be booked and paid for online and we can meet at a frequency that works for you. Most clients prefer every two weeks - this helps keep the momentum moving but allows time for you to do the work on yourself.
I look forward to connecting with you.
Training, qualifications & experience
I have been working in the international development field for nearly twenty years and have a great lived experience of what it means to work in a helping profession. I have been able to coach and mentor as a senior manager and team leader and have extensive experience of working with diversity in a multi-cultural setting. I have an ability to connect at a human level and believe that empathy, positivity and non-judgement are essential skills that I have developed in my professional life that now serve me well as a coach.

A free no-obligation Discovery Call can be booked via my website - this is an opportunity for us to connect and see if we are a good fit.
I can do face to face sessions in Worthing, Brighton or Hove or I can also do video/audio calls via Zoom.
Sessions cost £60 each for one hour.
I believe that coaching should be available to as many people as possible, so if you are currently on a low income or out of work I would be happy to discuss a discount in session fees with you.
What is a recalibration coach?
Recalibration refers to the fact that it can be so easy to slowly drift away from our needs and wants, leaving us out of whack, frustrated and unfulfilled. Sometimes you just need a little bump back on track, sometimes you need to dig deeper in order to refresh, reframe and rebalance.
What do you mean by helping professions?
In simplest terms, I mean professions that work predominantly with people in the areas of health care, education, development, community services, social work and response services. These professions all have a common thread of an external focus working “big” social problems, complex human needs, heavy workloads, high tendency for stress and burnout and emotional impact stemming from work.
