Benefits of Coaching

For many of us this year has been an opportunity to review and re-evaluate our lives. In times of transition or following seasons of loss, the way forward may not be clear. You might be feeling stuck and wanting to do something new but not sure if you can. Perhaps there's something you've always dreamed of doing or would like to do but you've been putting it off for some reason.

Coaching provides valuable space to think and plan strategically for the future and help to create positive new versions of ourselves, finding greater meaning and purpose.

It can be hugely beneficial to take time out to think about where you are now and where you want to be. Having a safe space with someone to listen carefully to you can bring greater self-awareness and increased clarity about future possibilities and choices. It brings the opportunity to consider whether you are living according to your values and life purpose and facilitates personal and professional growth.

This season of uncertainty and change has highlighted the need to adapt to new healthier ways of life. Maybe you've realised that you need to invest in your physical and mental health and to find a better rhythm for yourself and in relation to others.

Coaching offers a flexible approach which focuses on strengths and achievements in order to gain confidence and live a more fulfilling life.


Coaching can provide space to process loss, deepen important relationships and navigate a path through challenges ahead. It helps to broaden perspective, improve communication and motivation and enable you to make better decisions and bring about significant, positive change in your life.

I provide a safe and confidential space where you can explore anything that's blocking your way, so that you can focus on achieving those goals which will improve your well-being and promote a greater sense of meaning and purpose.

I am a fully qualified coach, accredited counsellor and supervisor, with many years of experience in a wide range of issues including life transitions and loss, career change, starting a new role or business, interpersonal challenges, work-life balance, self-development and in building confidence.

I will support you on your journey, encouraging self-care and adapting the way I work to suit your individual needs. I use a range of techniques and creative tools to facilitate discussion, gain insight and build on your strengths. I work with the whole person addressing both personal and work-related issues in the past, present and the future.

Training, qualifications & experience

  • Senior Practitioner in Coaching (EMCC)
  • Post-graduate advanced diploma (Therapist-to-coach)
  • Member of the EMCC and BACP
  • I adhere to the EMCC and BACP code of ethics.
  • MSc Therapeutic Counselling
  • Diploma Clinical Supervision
  • MBACP (Accred)

I am also an accredited, integrative counsellor with many years of experience. I am a qualified and experienced supervisor and have worked with trainees and qualified counsellors, with individuals and groups.

Additional information

£75 Individual 90 minute session

£60/hour   Individual clinical supervision

Fees are payable at the end of the session by cash, cheque or 24 hours in advance by bank transfer. 48 hours notice is required otherwise missed or cancelled sessions will be charged in full.
