I am a fully qualified coach, accredited counsellor and supervisor, with many years experience working in private practice, at a local hospice and a London-based counselling agency.
I have worked with a wide range of issues including life transitions, career change, starting a new role or business, interpersonal challenges, work-life balance, self-development and in building confidence.
As a counsellor I have worked with bereavement, depression, loss, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem and relationship difficulties.
I adapt the way I work to suit your individual needs. I use a range of techniques and creative tools to facilitate discussion, gain insight and build on your strengths. I work with the whole person addressing both personal and work-related issues in the past, present and the future.
The benefits of coaching
There are often moments in our lives when we're wondering what to do next. Maybe it's a time of transition or change when the way forward is not clear. You might be feeling stuck and wanting to do something new but not sure if you can. Possibly there's something you've always dreamed of doing or would like to do but you've been putting it off for some reason.
Personal and professional development
For many of us having time to reflect is a rare commodity in today's fast-paced, constantly busy world. It can be hugely beneficial to take time out to think about where you are now and where you want to be. Having a structured space with someone to listen carefully to you can bring greater self-awareness and increased clarity about future possibilities and choices. It brings the opportunity to consider whether you are living according to your values and life purpose and facilitates personal and professional growth.
Held back by unhelpful thinking patterns?
Perhaps you've realised you need support in identifying and changing unproductive and life-limiting thinking patterns and underlying beliefs about yourself or others, which are holding you back from achieving your full potential.
Feeling anxious or stressed about the future?
We don't always realise how much our emotions influence our decisions. Sometimes troublesome emotions such as anxiety can get in the way of what we are hoping to achieve, especially if we are going through a time of change. Having a counselling background means that I am used to working with emotions, including those which might be preventing you from moving forward and achieving your goal.
While you may not want counselling at the present time, working with someone who can work at psychological depth can be a great advantage. I provide a safe and confidential space where you can acknowledge anything that's blocking your way so that you can focus on achieving those goals which will improve your well-being.
Coaching gives you the opportunity to explore a range of options and find a way forward that works for you.
I offer a free 30 minute phone call when you can ask any questions and find out more.
I look forward to hearing from you.
