Hi! I'm Carys.  I'm a qualified and experienced career coach and HR professional.

I help people who want to change, or start, careers and also those who want to feel happier in their exiting roles; whether that's through building confidence, reducing stress & overwhelm, improving relationships, or professional development.  I also offer CV + Interview prep sessions.

Maybe you feel like a square peg in a round hole & know a change is needed but have no idea what or how.  Or, you like your current job, but overwhelm and imposter syndrome are draining your energy.  Perhaps you're bored, under challenged and want to move forwards, but don't know how to steer your career ship.  Or, you've recently left education/entered the world of work, and need some help figuring out which path to take next (maybe you've even quit your degree/course because it's just not for you).  Well, I've been there, and I think I might be able to help. 

I've had the pleasure of coaching secondary school pupils and uni leavers through to career changers and fellow freedom seekers, as well as senior leaders.  I believe deeply in the benefits of coaching, and I'm passionate about my own professional development as a coach; I'm currently working towards a Strengths Practitioner Certificate.  

I've also spent over a decade in HR & Recruitment, so I know a little about great interviews & CV's that stand out too, and I've seen how people flourish in jobs that actually suit them!  I've witnessed time and time again the power of working with personal strengths, cultivating and running great teams and developing confidence.

I'm compassionate & kind in my approach, but I'll hold you accountable when you need me to, & I'll challenge you at times - always gently & always with the intention of moving you forwards - which is what coaching is all about really. There'll be lots of exploration, deeper level thinking & reflection - that means I'll be asking you some questions, really really listening to you, offering new perspectives & using some helpful tools & exercises to bring you clarity & direction. 

I work with people face to face, online, or over the phone.  I also offer walk and talk sessions.
