About us
Like a Bubbling Brook, a resilient spirit is in calm, fluid motion — coursing through changing terrain with balance and acceptance, surfacing the churn within, trusting its flow to something greater.
Hi, I'm Akanksha, a Psychotherapist and Life Coach.
I blend my training in Therapeutic Counselling Studies (CPCAB) and Transformational Life Coaching (ICF) with my love for wellness, sports, art, and music—offering creative ways to express and release big feelings, so you can move forward with more clarity and self-connection.
You can show up just as you are here—no judgment, no pressure. This is a confidential, caring and safe space where you can be real with yourself and with me, and together we nurture that authenticity within and between us.
If you’re looking for someone who brings both strength and warmth, and who will meet you with real-world experience and a wide toolkit, I’m here to help you discover your own resilience, creativity, and sense of belonging. Together, we’ll find the small wins and deeper shifts that lead to lasting change.

Bubbling Brook
You know that feeling when you're by a gentle stream, watching the water find its way around every rock and fallen branch? That's what real resilience looks like in us.
It's not about being unbreakable or never feeling overwhelmed. It's about staying in motion—even when that motion is slow and gentle. When life throws curveballs our way, a resilient heart doesn't fight the current or pretend everything's fine. Instead, it lets those buried feelings bubble up to the surface, acknowledges them, and keeps flowing.
Sometimes we bend, sometimes we pool for a moment to catch our breath, but we don't stay stuck. We learn to ride the ups and downs with a kind of graceful acceptance—not because we're saints, but because we've learned that fighting the river of life just exhausts us.
The most beautiful part? We don't have to have it all figured out. We just trust that this flow, this messy, imperfect journey we're on, is leading us somewhere meaningful. Even when we can't see around the next bend.
That's resilience—not a superhuman strength, but a very human ability to keep moving, keep feeling, and keep trusting the process of becoming who we're meant to be.

My Work
It’s easy to get lost in all the “shoulds” and expectations—whether they come from others or from ourselves. When anxiety and mental clutter pile up, we can lose touch with who we truly are. Reconnecting with our real selves—beneath all the layers of conditioning—is key to feeling at home in our own minds and bodies.
We often hold onto rigid ideas about how life and people “should” be, which can leave us feeling out of sync with reality. Learning to set boundaries, accept what we can’t change, and gently let go of what no longer serves us helps us find more peace in our relationships and environment.

Testimonials
"I had a number of sessions with Akanksha and she is great - personable, held an open space for me to share, asked open and challenging questions to get me to work through challenges in new ways and reflected back which helped me to hear what I was saying better. She was never in a rush and took her time to go deep to get to the root and we put steps in place to help me go forward. Thank you Akanksha and I hope to work with you again soon."
"Akanksha has a natural gift of understanding and making you feel heard like none other. Her ability to help you communicate with yourself, unlocks the key to you solving your problems, discovering what you really want and driving towards your goals."
"Akanksha helped create a space where I could release and understand my tightly held emotions. My instinct was to loop, detach and withdraw. This backdrop of understanding and security that was established in the sessions helped me develop sensitivity and compassion towards myself. Akanksha has the knack to know when to push me to expand my limits and when to back off when I was feeling the internal resistance.
Her methods have helped me to slowly work towards behavioural changes and bring in positive shifts in my relationship with myself and others. It was hard work and the process was painful at times, Akanksha helped me use my vulnerability as a strength that I never knew I had. I can see and feel a changed me."
"I wasn’t sure if I needed coaching until I was recommended to speak with Akanksha. I went in to discuss my work and the teams that I was leading. In a few sessions, I realised it wasn’t just work but all of me - my personal life, my close relationships that needed prioritising. I could understand and dig deep into what I really wanted for myself and for my loved ones. The difficult but rewarding sessions helped me build resilience to work towards a plan in my work-life and also bring positive changes in my personal life. I am a work in progress!"

As a motorcyclist, scuba diver, swimming coach, board gamer, foodie, sketch artist, photographer, classical singer, belly dancer, plant mom, Kombucha brewer, and aspiring surfer, I’ve seen how movement, creativity, play and social activities can be truly therapeutic. These passions have taught me the value of non-verbal self-expression and the many ways we can reconnect with our true selves— in mind, body, spirit, nature, and community.
