Training, qualifications & experience
My professional background originated in Social Work and Social Pedagogy more than 20 years ago! In different work contexts, I have been supporting individuals and groups through advocacy work, group work, training, in-depth assessments and supervision. No journey is ever the same and being part of it has always made me feel privileged. You can't beat the reward of seeing someone take their life from 'survival mode' to 'living fully'!
While I enjoyed everything I was doing, there came a point at which I wanted to take things to a new level. So whilst still in full-time employment, I started training to become a qualified Life Coach within the framework of the CPCAB, the UK's leading specialist awarding body in the field of counselling and life coaching. Unfortunately, Life Coaching isn't regulated in the UK, which made it all the more important to me to choose a trustworthy qualification with high professional and ethical standards. In 2014 I completed Level 2 Counselling Skills, followed by Level 3 Counselling Studies in 2015/1016 and eventually the Level 4 Life Coaching Diploma in 2017/2018. Since then I have completed further training in Mindfulness and Mindfulness-Based Strengths Practice (MBSP) and am currently working on my certification as Positive Psychology Practitioner.
Built on a long professional expertise and complemented by ongoing professional training, it gives me great pleasure to support individuals and groups from all walks of life; I am so grateful to now be in a position to offer the services you'll find here and on my website. Association for Coaching
The Association for Coaching is one of the leading professional bodies for Coaches and Organisations.
The Association is made up of a number of different membership categories, e.g. Associate Member (AMAC), Member (MAC), Accredited Member (AC Accred), with the different categories standing for different levels of training and experience. Accredited Members have achieved a substantial level of training and experience approved by the Association.
The Association has a Code of Ethics & Good Practice and a Complaints Procedure.

At the very core of our being are our values and what we believe in. They give us direction in life, guide us in our choices and decisions. They provide us with vision and resilience when the going gets tough. But what if those drivers get lost? Meaning and values coaching aims at reconnecting you with the all-important ‘why’ of your life, so you can again access all those precious life energies.
Mindfulness Training & MBSP
Widely acknowledged and backed by research, Mindfulness is acknowledged as an easy to learn and effective way to stay healthy by an increased ability to be present in the ‘here and now’. I offer mindfulness training as part of individual coaching as well as Mindfulness-Based-Strengths-Practice (MBSP) for individuals and groups.
We evolve as we move through life. Change is necessarily part of this and affects us differently. There are those changes we seek, like healthier habits or career development. Some changes come unexpectedly: a medical diagnosis, loss of a loved one or maybe a transition into a new sexual identity. And then there are those changes we are aware of but when presented with them, they hit so much harder than expected, for example, a new phase of life. Life Coaching can help to make sense and work constructively towards a renewed and stronger You.
You are unique, your outlook on life, your way of doing things, your character strengths and the skill sets related to them. Strengths coaching puts you in touch with your very own combination of character strengths. Together we identify ways to best harness these in your personal life, at work, relationships and other aspects of your life journey.

‘All life is an encounter’ and therefore learning in groups an incredibly valuable option to grow, individually and as a team. All themed packages are also available as group training.
