Anne Feeney APECs Accredited Coach, M.A. (Distinction) in Psych. Coaching
Hello and welcome to my profile page. I provide coaching for leadership, professional development and well-being concerns.
I am a Master’s qualified Executive Coach and I also work as a Person-Centred Therapist. I come from a Director level corporate background in global account management and systems engineering, and have coached individuals from all over the world face to face and virtually.
My coaching philosophy is based upon a passion and commitment to supporting each coachee to succeed. In the words of the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda ‘I want to do for you what the Spring does for the cherry trees’. I see my role being to support you to better understand your relationship to yourself especially those fixed parts that you find no longer useful - ‘The results that I want are largely a function of the self that I am’.
How I work with you
I endeavour to offer a relationship where your wisdom and potential can be released. I do this by offering a balance of empathy and acceptance with an appropriate level of challenge, and through my commitment to being genuine and kind.
I believe it’s helpful for us to first understand and then work with the grain of your personality. No matter how challenging the situation, we work in partnership to find a way to play to your strengths and achieve your goals. You might already be extremely successful in many areas of your life but find that you have one area where you feel stuck or frustrated. Or you may be a high performer who is looking to raise your game or get that next promotion.
What’s in it for you? Here’s what some of my coaching clients say about their experience:
Insight: ‘Anne, I wanted to thank you for your support, patience and insights this year. It has been really valuable to me, both professionally and personally. Our sessions have been an oasis of peace, honesty and optimism. Thank you.’ Merchant Banker 41
More confidence and optimism: ‘Anne gave me confidence and practical tips how to address my causes of stress, which made me calmer, more confident and more optimistic.’ Director, Banking, 39
Clarity: ‘The coaching brought me some clarity, as I was too close to the issues to recognise what they are initially and how they can be dealt with.’ Project Chief, Oil & Gas Industry, 50.
Getting to the heart of the matter: ‘What surprised me was that I could change so quickly. I expected that it would take ½ a year and be too expensive and I wasn’t certain whether it would be worth it. In fact, I was surprised that it only took 8 sessions to make a major shift in how I was behaving.’ Owner of a Leisurewear Company, 37.
Breakthroughs – new answers to old problems: ‘Most important I had a breakthrough with what used to stop me in progressing over a certain limit. When the going would get tough I would start doubting that I am doing the right thing. These doubts then stopped me from progressing further and I then wanted to ‘throw it all in’.’ Yoga teacher 39.
Career progression: ‘The good news - achieved the annual targets 6 months early. Team in fantastic shape when my boss came back from maternity leave - she was blown away!! And to top it all – I was offered my boss’s job in the US. I actually attribute this in part to the conversations we had as your coaching helped me get my head straight and focus on what was important.’ Senior business development executive, 43.
Confidentiality: ‘Anne is very pleasant and professional and she made it easy for me to be open with her. It could have been quite uncomfortable sharing my problems and vulnerabilities with a stranger but it was always easy and comfortable for me to talk to her.’ Working Mum 37.

“I would never have thought that the emotional gain would be as comprehensive as it has been as a result of my coaching with Anne. I am happier and more relaxed than I can ever remember. I have become exponentially more productive at work and now handle my everyday challenges with a new optimism and confidence. The strategies Anne teaches for achieving goals have accelerated my speed towards my goals despite the extensive goal achieving knowledge I already possessed. Anne is 100% committed to her work and she is incredibly intuitive. It is very obvious how passionate she is about helping people be the best they can be and I can’t express enough how grateful I am for her. I can recommend Anne without reservation as she has truly transformed my life.”
John, Global Vice President, IT Industry
“Working with Anne has been my first coaching experience, I was skeptical about the outcome as speaking about personal issues is not always easy. Even if I only met her first through a video conference I immediately felt comfortable in the conversation, it was not only about listening but also the fact that Anne was able to connect, understand my personality and open the environment in order to set my expectation and assist me where I needed. The thing I valued the most was the trusted environment that she was able to set, the ability to let me think out loud and give me some suggestion based on her experience. At the end of the call I always had a few action points I could put into practice, everything was related to my needs and her support helped me in putting things in the right perspective and focus on the things I needed the most. I feel that I’ve received much more than I expected, the journey was intense but I can say that I have learned something about myself.”
Alberto Yates, Hotels Regional Manager – Oceania, Booking.com (Australia)
Anne was my coach, teacher and facilitator during my Masters journey. Anne was consistently thoughtful, challenging and inspiring in every interaction I had with her. She consistently brought insight, experience and thought leadership, which was not only instrumental in helping me pass my Masters, it was also instrumental in helping me develop and execute on projects that drove significant value to my teams and my business.
A great coach and a fantastic person.
Paul Devlin General Manager SAP Ariba, MEE & EMEA
“I have worked with Anne during the past 6 months and I truly enjoy all the coaching sessions with her. I think it is a gift that she is capable of creating an open, trusting yet relaxed environment where I could freely discuss issues that are important to me in team management and personal growth. She asks the right questions that make me think more or even think again. I also like the balance of her giving recommendations coming from her good past experience vs. asking questions so I eventually understand what I should do for myself.”
Jun Lai, General Manager, Greater China, Booking.com
I have worked with Anne now for three years and she is one of the best executive coaches I have worked with. Anne has coached several senior managers and top talents at Booking.com. She has the capability to coach people from different backgrounds and nationalities. Anne has the talent to also coach people over long distance using video conferencing and still have a high impact.

She is a truly inspiring Coach who helps people and organizations find their true calling and potential.
