About me

I work with team leaders who care about their team.  Team leaders challenged with motivating their team around a clear vision while operating within uncertainty, constant change and the demand to do more with less.

Walk Coach Learn events and coaching give teams space to reflect on how they work, connect with each other and get moving towards their goals.  Using walking, coaching, team development techniques and the green spaces of London and beyond I offer teams support that is inclusive, productive and brings about long lasting, positive change.

Why Coaching while Walking?

Walking alone has over a hundred physical and mental health benefits and has been proven to improve thinking and creativity.  Walking coaching focuses on creating a stimulating, reflective, supportive space.
The physical walk allows a digital detox and gets you out of your usual work space.  It enables you to think in new ways, move through blockages and gain insights from the environment around you.

How does it work?

Walking coaching takes place in a park, outdoor space or streets near your work or home in London. Coach and client walk side by side at a slow to moderate pace while walking, talking, thinking and engaging with the environment. There is a focus on creating a safe, supportive, gently challenging space.

The walk session is confidential and lasts for around an hour.  Come prepared to walk by being dressed for the weather with no heavy bags and comfy shoes.  After the session, you will be given a follow up activity and invited to evaluate the experience.

Training, qualifications & experience

I am an executive coach and walking enthusiast experienced in individual and group coaching, event facilitation, and walking activities.

My Story
I have been the team leader experiencing relentless change and sandwiched between the needs of team members and demands of the organisation and bosses.  Coaching and team events enabled me to develop the team, plan a way forward, overcome challenges and become a more confident, effective team leader.

This is the support I aim to offer now as a coach. Walking is central to how I work.

I have enjoyed discovering how walking and talking can have a transformative effect on all of us, particularly groups and teams. When we walk, we become explorers, connect with each other, have new ideas and feel good

My Background
My background is in bringing about change in Higher Education through educational technology and leadership development. I worked in this field at City, University of London from 2003, tutoring on the MA module Developing Leadership and Your Reflective Practice and becoming Head of Educational Technology leading a team of 20 in 2013 until leaving in 2016.


I have a Diploma in Intermediate Executive Coaching from the AoEC.  I have also undertaken training in Gestalt Coaching, Ontological Coaching, and Thinking Environment, as well as experiencing a variety of walking coaching methods.

One 1 hour walking coaching session is £95

Three 1 hour walking coaching sessions are £270

There may be an additional administrative charge for clients paying via their company or institution.

Team events

Prices for event facilitation such as meetings, away days, team walks and action learning sets are available on request.
