About me

Hi, I'm Amy. I empower busy, ambitious professionals like you, to create a life and career they don't want to escape from! Together we will redefine what success and freedom look and feel like for you, so you don't look back at your life with regrets.

I know you’re a strong, make it happen kind of person and your life is full. Your superpower is juggling your busy schedule, people that count on you, and the commitments you need to fulfil. Often your personal needs take a backseat to your to-do list or the demands of others.

You hurry from one thing to the next, trying to keep all those plates spinning, only to crawl into bed at the end of the day feeling exhausted, trapped, and dreading having to get up and do it all again tomorrow. Despite your best efforts there just doesn’t seem to be any light at the end of the tunnel, which can feel soul-destroying, overwhelming, and leave you questioning

‘Is this it’?

You know there has got to be more to life than this ‘rinse and repeat’ rut you are in. You see it when you look at social media. You feel it when you stare out the window at work. You know it as you lie in bed at night. That feeling of wanting more is bubbling away inside you and if something doesn’t change soon you fear you might reach a breaking point.

I get it, you are not alone.

Sometimes it seems that life is passing us by and despite our best efforts to do it all, we’re left feeling frazzled and disconnected with the weight of expectation and obligation hanging like an anchor around our necks. We’re surviving, not thriving.

Not so long ago I was in your shoes, dragging myself through life, searching for the light. I was miserable, stuck, and completely disconnected from myself and the people around me. I was trying so hard to stuff down my feelings and put my professional mask on that I completely lost myself.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

I learned the hard way what happens when you ignore these feelings. You can do anything, but not everything, and this is why my business exists, to show you how to prioritise the important things and build a happy life infused with success, balance, freedom, and passion.

I know it’s possible to make these changes because I’ve done it.

I see so many busy professionals fire fighting all of the demands on their time and attention, who are missing out on the important things that actually make them happy. This is why I created my ‘Reconnect’ method. A 5 step system to move you from survival mode to living a happier, lighter life that lights you up. Because I believe deep in my heart that life is easier when we find the courage to be true to ourselves, and this for me, is real success and freedom.

Further details:

I'm a member of the Association for Coaching (MAC) and hold an International Coach Federation (ICF) approved and endorsed diploma in Transformational Coaching from the Animas Centre for Coaching, as well as further certificates in Emotional Intelligence Coaching and Group Coaching and facilitation. I am fully insured, DBS and ICO certified.

I am certified to use the DISC Personal Assessment tool, which helps you to understand your personality to get ahead in your career, to communicate better in your relationships and to understand your personal patterns of behaviour.

Prior to becoming a full time coach, I worked for many years in the corporate world in people and project management positions. I continue to support people in the business world, running coaching programmes and training within organisations. I believe this gives me a good understanding of the modern day workplace and the difficulties people face.

Client Feedback:

"Wow, what a journey! Coaching helped me to understand myself and work better with the people around me. The tools you gave me to address conflict enabled me to connect with my colleagues in a more professional manner.

I have learned not to take on everyone else's problems - I can still support them, but without climbing into their issues. I now take power in my own capabilities instead of comparing myself to others and I have been promoted!

Figuring out the changes I needed to make has freed up headspace to focus on what's important - my happiness. My self worth and confidence has grown and I can't express enough how the sessions really helped change my whole outlook on life."

“Working with Amy has been amazing. I instantly warmed to her from the first moment we met and also trusted her implicitly, which allowed me to be very open and honest. I walked away from each session feeling that the load was lightening and honestly feel better now than I have for years. This has had such a positive impact on every aspect of my life”

"You helped me think out loud on a lot of issues and I achieved some new insights and clarity I had never before had. I have gained insights into why I have previously behaved in certain ways, which is enabling me to power through things that have previously held me back. It has been really good to have somebody outside of the business to talk with and bounce ideas off”

“I very much enjoyed our sessions. Amy’s client approach is thoughtful and well-pitched with appropriate time for reflection and discussion provided. Amy’s application of the tools and methodologies I felt, was insightful and rightly driven by our conversations. I have become more self-aware in terms of who I am and what it is I value”

"The process of working with Amy has been great. Informality made it easier to approach sessions and allowed me to open up a bit as I would naturally be inclined to keep things to myself. I now have a different outlook, being more flexible rather than judging on early impressions”
