If you’re looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation in your or you’re just ready to move in a new direction in your life, ‘Pathway to Change’ can help you!
Everyone knows the importance of a balanced life, but often we feel our lives tilting us first one way then the other. For many people, career demands mean force the need to shut everything else out. Once we lose our balance, it can feel impossible to regain. We get into the habit of acquiescing to the pressures in front of us, often letting slide the truly important parts of our life: relationships, family, even health
Whether you’re struggling to find work-life balance, facing specific career challenges, or dealing with relationship problems at home, I will provide the non-judgmental support you need to overcome the barriers that are keeping you from living your best life, so why not take those first steps to good health and happiness.
For the last 18 years I have been working within the Health and Safety Industry, initially supporting my husband starting a training company, then after his death in 2010, not only dealing with the day to day running of the company within my own role, but also the staff, overseeing a new website and taking on all the projects, that were his specialty having had years in the industry.
So, I began a huge learning curve. Luckily my daughter worked in the company, so together we supported each other, there were times we felt it was all too difficult, wanted to give it all up, get jobs stacking shelves but then, on days it went well, we just needed to accept that each day was another step in the right direction, we realised this was something we could do, and do well, gradually our confidence grew and the company has flourished, to a point where I feel comfortable enough to let her channel her enthusiasm and vision to take the company in new directions and take yet another detour on my own pathway.
The last 10 years of my life have seen me evolve into a person in the early days I hardly recognised, but gradually have realised that this isnt a new me, but another version of the real me, always inside but just in the background while I filled all the other roles life had for me, dutiful daughter, supportive wife, caring mum, and it is now that I am finally feeling that I am beginning to know this latest me, now feel inspired and excited to use my skills to support others.
That means really understanding what you want and where you want to go, your hopes and dreams for your future.
We often start with an immediate, short-term, "small" achievable goal, and that typically expands as you start to discover you are able to achieve far more than they originally imagined. That might be to start your own small business, taking the first tentative steps or that big leap, I will be there along side you.
I also spent many years travelling with the forces, have lived abroad for many years, so have experienced that 'starting again from scratch' that can often occur in our lives, that could be moving home, job or trying to reboot your life after the breakdown of a relationship or death of a partner, or simply moving to another stage in your life and looking for new challenges, let me walk with you as you take those first steps along your pathway to change.
I mainly work from home as this offers a comfortable environment but also happy to meet elsewhere or have sessions on the phone or via Skype or a mixture of all if circumstances allow, that is something we can discuss when you call.
