For some people, the slowing job market caused by the recession was a reason to put career thoughts on hold. However, work takes up a huge amount of our energy and we spend a significant amount of time at work - all in all, it's really consuming.
So, do you work to live, or live to work?
If you 'work to live', you may be more driven by your hobbies, family and other things outside of work. Your dream may be the life you're living and your work is a means to fund this dream. A lot of people are perfectly happy with this.
If you feel you 'live to work', you may have found a job that's totally suited to you. Or perhaps work plays too important a part in your life at the detriment of energy, health, family or taking time to enjoy hobbies and generally enjoying what life has to offer,
CAREER CHOICE is about unlocking what makes you an energised person.
We've all invented solutions to cope with life's problems - creatively. But how can creativity help career exploration?
Well, it's not looking for a solution - We can use creativity to explore who we are and create multiple solutions and possibilities. And note: we're not making decisions here - we're simply creating possibilities (decision making can really quash creative thinking).
If your career is stagnated or boring, you may benefit from this kind of thinking - or from visiting a life coach specialising in career and work development.
