Bullying is bad! Even if the only person you bully is YOU!
Do you demonstrate self-bullying behaviours such as:
- Self blame
- Self criticism
- Self attack
These are just a few examples of the depressed thinking habits that we inflict on ourselves and maintain our self-bullying habits.
I am constantly saddened and shocked at the cruelty people inflict on themselves with their self-talk. Most of us would never say the cruel, nasty, negative, merciless, wounding words to others, that we say to ourselves when we are self-bullying and it has to stop! Recognising your self-bullying pattern and developing the skills to challenge it are crucial for a positive and healthy mindset.
- Self-bullying: negatively effects our self esteem.
- Self-bullying: effects the way we see the world and interact with it.
- Self-bullying: effects how we see an interact with people.
- Self-bullying: effects us having a happier life.
In a nutshell, nothing good ever comes out of self-bullying, so be honest with yourself; are you a self-bully?
We don’t accept people bullying each other so don’t accept ‘you’ bullying ‘yourself’.
Work towards a positive inner voice and kick that negative one out!
