Are you feel there is not light at the end of the tunnel?

This Too Shall Pass

I hear the angels whisper
that trouble don't have to last always
I hear the angels whisper
Even the day after tomorrow will one day be yesterday.
I hear my angels whisper
I hear my angels whisper
This too shall pass

Do you feel like there’s no light at the end of the tunnel?

Do you feel like everything in your life just seems to be going wrong?

Are you feeling down for days and just want to lie in your bed and sleep all day?

Is it difficult to stay positive and all you want is to be reassured that everything is going to be alright?

I understand how you feel…We all at some point in our lives go through these periods.

BUT believe me when I say there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. There really is. Every problem always has a solution and what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.

Sometimes you just have to pick yourself up and carry on.

If this is how you are feeling right now you are not alone.

Now is the time to pick yourself up, and dust yourself off! I know you can do it! Stand up right now and say “I CAN DO IT”… I truly believe that you can get through anything. You can be happy again; you can be someone who is full of life. No matter how chaotic the past has been, the future is a clean, fresh, wide open slate.

  • You are not your past habits.
  • You are not your past failures.
  • You are not how others have at one time treated you.
  • You are a beautiful amazing person with a bright future ahead of you.

Focus on what you have, not on what you haven’t. Focus on the things that put a smile on your face. Focus on all the things or people in your life you appreciate. Count your blessings. Remember… everything that happens to us in life is a life lesson. Everyone you meet, everything you encounter - they’re all part of the learning experience we call ‘life'. Never forget to acknowledge the lesson

If things don’t go your way and you don’t get that job you so wanted or your relationship didn’t work, it only means something better is out there waiting. Question every challenge. Ask yourself: “What is this situation meant to teach me?” Every situation in our life has a lesson to teach us. Some of these lessons include: To become stronger; To communicate more clearly; To trust your instincts; To express your love; To forgive; To know when to let go; To try something new.

I have a few tips which will help pick up your mood when you are feeling down:

1. Meditate - Put a cushion on the floor, sit on top, get comfortable, close your eyes. Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth and just relax your mind. Meditating helps you to empty your mind of everyday concerns and humdrum trivia, in order to focus on the bigger concept of life.

2. Count the good things - Count your blessings instead of sheep – make a list of at the things you are thankful for.

3. Exercise - Using exercises like Pilates, Yoga and Tai Chi allows a client to strive to live in an on-going and progressively more joyous state of harmony. Exercise allows your body, mind, and emotions to be brought into attunement with one another and with one’s soul.

4. Pamper yourself - Learning how to pamper and take care of yourself is essential to your well-being, and it’s something you can turn to when you’re feeling stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, or just need a break! Prepare a relaxing bath with some bath salts, light a candle, get a book and relax. Get a pedicure or even try an at home facial. Whatever rocks your boat.

5. Play your favourite music - Find some of your favourite uplifting tunes and blast them out load (not to loud that you disturb your neighbour). Sing along and just lose yourself in the music. Uplifting music uplifts your spirit and increases your energy.
