The MindShed summer retreat at Tyddyn (Cambrian mountains)
Join us for The MindShed four-night summer retreat at the stunning Tyddyn retreat (pronounced Tuthin).
A five-star eco venue surrounded by stunning scenery; secluded and quiet.
Tyddyn is located high in the Cambrian mountains - the most unspoilt and wild landscapes in Wales. Tyddyn Retreat is within 20 minutes of Snowdonia national park and 40 from the wonderful coastline at Aberdovey.
The accommodation is split between the large farmhouse and two tastefully converted barns. There are six single-occupancy rooms, doubles, and twins. However, if you wish to come as a couple or share with a friend this is possible; please contact me for more details.
Enjoying life at Tyddyn Retreat
Outside, the magical land includes a dingle (deep cut streams and pond, with tall oak trees above), a stone circle with a campfire, tipi, two meadows, and lots of different outdoor seating - for some private reflection time or conversation with others. You are welcome to have a campfire together in the stone circle.
The pond has just been enlarged for wild swimming (if anyone is brave enough to try the cold mountain water!).
They have the highest level of International Dark Skies rating at Tyddyn Retreat, with the Milky Way visible. So perhaps wrap up in a blanket with a cup of hot chocolate and just soak in the starry nights?
Out and about
Located in mid-Wales, Tyddyn is close to Snowdonia, the Cambrian mountains, and the coastline at Aberdovey. It is surrounded by stunning countryside, with lots of opportunities to walk and soak it all in. The owner of Tyddyn will be on hand to guide you around the local area.
The MindShed workshops
Each day, Roger will be hosting a morning and afternoon workshop, as well as guided meditations throughout the day in the cosy and comfortable dedicated workshop space as well as outside in the stunning grounds at Tyddyn. The workshops will include mindfulness meditation and coaching to help you take control of your inner world and to find inner stillness, peace and space.
As an optional extra, we have a wonderful massage therapist available to us on the retreat to help you unwind further.
Massage options: Full body £45, (60min); Upper back and arms £30 (40mins); Shoulders and neck (seated) £15 (20 mins).
This is a relaxing retreat - no pressures, just time to unwind with like-minded company and access a level of stillness and contentment that is at times hard to find in our daily life.
This retreat is suitable for anyone that is looking to take some time out, to reflect on life, to get some clarity and space, and learn new tools and techniques to access this space at any time.
