The art of balanced living
Are you stressed? Overwhelmed? Would you like to have more time to enjoy more of what you love?
How much longer can you continue to ignore the effects that working in a job that you hate is having on your health and your quality of life?
The constant pressure is straining your relationships. The excessive hours are pulling you away from your family and driving you towards rushed meals with little or no nutritional or social value. Not only do you simply not have enough time for your family, but no energy in reserve to fuel those precious few moments.
Life is literally slipping through your fingers. How much more will you allow yourself to tolerate?
Perhaps you've tried to find the answer in books, but unfortunately, 90% of people who open a self development book never even complete it. When you have attended seminars, you have left "on a mission", but for how long were you able to maintain that momentum? Maybe you have sought advice from your colleagues, or perhaps you have raised your concerns with your immediate superior?
You are resigned to accept the role that you're in, because you fear the unknown. Perhaps you're conditioned to believe that your circumstances are normal. That there simply isn't an alternative. You're conditioned to accept your "reality", when in truth the reality is that - here in the UK - 12.5 million working days were lost due to work-related stress, depression or anxiety in the year 2016/17.
Something needs to change. "If you do what you've always done, you'll get what you've always gotten."
As a manager, I used to believe in the need to lead by example. That it was "necessary" to work harder and longer hours! It's a vicious cycle. Let me assure you, there is no medal of honour for the most burned-out employee. No certificate of achievement. There is no recognition in working a 36 hour shift. Once the precedent is set, however, it soon becomes an expectation.
There is no kudos in sacrificing 26 consecutive Christmases to the gods of retail and hospitality, only to be accused of being "married to your job". Rather than providing for my family, I had effectively alienated them. Rather than building a foundation, our future, I had built a divide, when my sole intention was simply to provide the best for my family.
You can't substitute presents for presence.
As J.K. Rowling once said, "Rock bottom became the solid foundation on which I rebuilt my life.”
I encourage you to not only learn from my mistakes, but to benefit also from the years that I have invested in escaping my hell. I have invested tens of thousands of pounds - not to mention years of experience, to distil "the art of balanced living", and I invite you to share its essence on this one-day transformational experience.
As a certified consultant within the world-renowned Proctor Gallagher Institute, I am personally mentored by Bob Proctor – considered to be one of the world’s greatest teachers on the topics of human potential, success, and growth, underpinned by the unparalleled knowledge and experience which he has accumulated over more than 57 years of intensive research.

I look forward to meeting you there...
"I was having serious problems in my life, my work was causing me a great deal of stress and I felt helpless in being able to tackle the situation. The transformation has been dramatic, I am a far more confident and decisive person, I am more aware of my surroundings and how I can control my emotions in difficult situations. I have a new enthusiasm for life and credit must go to Colin for helping that transformation to happen." Gareth (Financial Director).
