New supervision group in Reading, Berkshire.

Running virtually throughout Covid. This new group will run for 12 months initially, starting early 2021.

Who is this for?

Coaches - new and established.

Benefits

As we know, supervision is first and foremost about self-reflection. Coaches who use supervision regularly will tell you they value the time; the time to reflect on their coaching practice and to explore and develop their skills. Regular supervision is a sign of the quality of your professional practice. So supervision is about quality and about improving and growing as a coach. If that's your aim, then this is for you.

If you don’t have a supervisor currently, this may be your opportunity to experience supervision in a safe, small group of like-minded coaches. You may be reassured about the value of supervision, hooked even. Group supervision is very cost-effective. It may provide a stepping stone to individual supervision, perhaps?

If you already have a supervisor, have you tried group supervision? It offers a very different experience. You will learn as much from the other coaches' explorations of their client practice as from your own. Group supervision offers a rich dialogue with input from the other coaches within the group. It also allows for group exploration of a common coaching theme or a shared development opportunity.

How does it work?

You join the group, attending supervision six times during the year. There will be more than six dates, one every seven weeks or so (you choose six from these, giving you flexibility to meet your needs). There will be only seven places for coaches interested in being part of the group for 2021.

Sessions will be three hours. Typically there will be five or six coaches in the group for each session. So, each time we meet, there will be familiar faces, and maybe a new one too. This builds security and trust but keeps the group fresh.

When we meet, we may explore client work, or we may use the time to look at our practice by exploring common themes in coaching such as boundaries, ethics, the coach’s stance, or maybe build a coach constellation.

The investment is £540 for the year, or £30 per hour of supervision.
