Monthly somatic movement and healing workshop
Join me for a morning filled with mindful movement practices designed to help you connect with your body on a deeper level. This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to improve flexibility, reduce stress, and enhance body awareness.
No experience is necessary, just come with an open mind and a willingness to explore new ways of moving. Don't miss out on this opportunity to nurture your body and soul.
I hold my somatic movement workshops at Threee Rooms in Buckden. This is a stunning venue, bijou and intimate, with such a gorgeous energy. Even stepping inside makes you feel at peace. A full sensory immersive experience.
Places are limited to 5. They are held on the third Saturday morning every month at 10am until midday.
My workshops more or less follow a format of:
- Welcome and getting settled - find a spot to place your mat. Sit in stillness and contemplation or chat with others.
- Centring - sitting or lying down, I invite you to connect with your body, mind and breath and we breathe in essential oils.
- Movement - I guide you through around 45 minutes of movement, designed to help us regulate our nervous system. We explore balancing, strength, vigour, calm, and restoration
- Vagus nerve stimulation - I offer a somatic exercise or self-massage to help stimulate the vagus nerve, which is where much of our chronic stress is stored.
- Meditation and mindfulness - we end the class with a guided meditation to a gentle mini sound bath
- Affirmations and group sharing - I invite you to share your goals and intentions set
All movements and meditations are invitational and you can opt out of or adapt any of the exercises that I offer.
