When we have family, friends or colleagues who are going through loss or bereavement, we may not always know how to best support them or what to say. Wanting to help but not sure how to, we may end up avoiding difficult topics of conversation or even avoiding the person.

This face-to-face interactive workshop is designed to:

  • bust common myths and misconceptions
  • explore some models of grief
  • help you manage your own well-being whilst supporting others
  • share some helpful mindfulness techniques to stay grounded and present
  • introduce some simple creative exercises to express emotions when words are not enough

We’ll round off the morning with a gentle mindful walk to allow time for reflection and grounding exercises to enable you to feel optimistic and uplifted.

By the end of the event you will:

  • have a better understanding of the nature of grief
  • feel more confident about helping others going through loss
  • have the tools to manage your own well-being

This three-hour workshop will be delivered by experienced practitioners in their fields.
